Since there are 24 episodes the powers that be are not finished stomping on our hearts. Tighten your seatbelt. I saw a clip on twitter that crushed my heart! I just hope people dont get angry and retaliate by messing with the scores. Our two guys are doing a phenomenal job. To Sir With Love got a 8.3, My School President got 8.6. A Boss and a Babe got 8.3. This merits at least an 8.5 if the writer does not mess it up.
It should be even higher. This is a gem! I usually skip pass the exgf parts but the way they have written the character I just cant wait for her to get the boot permanently. The uncle needs to go too but the entire cast is doing an awesome job!
I knew the storm was coming and I braced myself….but I still wasnt prepared. Of course, the episode was brilliant! I will have to suffer through the next four episodes. Hopefully, by ep 16 the worst will be over. I really hate the exgf trope .
Let me disagree a bit when it comes to Thai productions. I was not able to finish ITSAY - it just never pulled…
Interesting….I just have not found any Philippine bl appealing. The Viet Nam bls may be low budget but I like their storyline development and the ability of the actors. There are so many Thai bls I either like or don’t like. This year alone I have already watched at least 15. My favorites are Moonlight Chicken, Never Let Me Go , KinnPorsche, and the current Be My Favorite. Korean bls have been on a roll. My favorites from 2022 were Semantic Error, To My Star 2, Blueming and Cherry Blossoms After Winter. My favorite 2023 bls so far are The Eighth Sense, Love Tractor, Our Dating Sim and Unintentional Love Story. My favorite Japanese bl is Life, Love on the Line(movie), Minatos Laundromat and the 2023 Our Dining Table. I didn’t even know about the bl genre until the Covid shutdown. That was in 2020. Excluding NBA basketball and NFL football ( yes I am a straight ,conservative female who enjoys sports and bls) that is basically all I watch now….and my kdramas. There is so much to choose from. I enjoy Inventive storylines that think outside the box and sweet, wholesome romances. I also love those bls that tackle current social and cultural issues affecting the gay communities. I am not opposed to sex and skin but it needs to make sense . That is why I watched Bed Friends and Love is in the Air and have them on my rewatch list. Please forgive my endless ranting. Take care. After tomorrow we will be at the halfway mark for Stay With Me. I just hope we get a happy ending. That is a major criteria for getting on my rewatch list. I already have too much sadness in my real life.
I am sorry but 8.1 rating is an insult to this series! This is a 8.6 rating drama!! I badly want to rate 100/10…
I agree but I have come to realize that there is an obvious bias when it comes to bl ratings. If the fans do not like how a character is shown or the storyline they will purposely manipulate the scoring to give it a lower rating. It has nothing to do with the development of the plot or the acting ability of the artist. In some cases they have even posted insults and threats to the actors/writers/dtrectors. I am puzzled and dismayed by this because this is not the case with dramas that depict adultery, greed, physical and emotional abuse, etc. If the acting is good and there is a plausible storyline the ratings reflect that which is how it should be…but bls are not afforded the same respect in my opinion. That is why I generally dont even look at the ratings until I have watched at least two or three episodes. I feel most sorry for the actors and actresses. Imagine you going to work and doing a really great job but you only get paid half your salary because one or two customers did not like the product they purchased.
This is soooo deliciously good…and thank goodness for them not dragging this out for months…two days each week with two episodes each…this deserves more than 8.1…ep 10 was so good I have to go back and look at it again…. this is storytelling at its best…I hope they dont mess it up with the introduction of the ex girlfriend…generally I find bls lacking in that area…Semantic Error handled the female rival the best in my opinion. I was not at all pleased with how the exgf was handled in Addicted. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
This is what superb scriptwriting and acting is all about! I can see and feel the love growing with every gesture, every glance, every spoken and unspoken word between Wu Bi and Su Yu. Get your tissues out. We know this rollercoaster ride is just starting. This is in a league with ITSAY.

Well said…however it has been my personal experience that it is generally pointless to try to use logic with a point of view that is clearly illogical and baseless. Still, I applaud the effort.
I am always down for light and fluffy bls. This is my escape into fantasy so right now I am smiling. I will tread lightly because Mame has a tendency to go off the rails in her inclusion of certain scenarios which may make me cringe. I love how it starts with the inclusion of my heartthrobs from Love in the Air and the mls are so cute. It looks like its going to be a rollercoaster of emotions. I am all in.
Now I remember why I stopped watching the Club Friday series…lol…they always involved messy entanglements/relationships. The bait here is the ml and fl are gay. The good news is its just 4 episodes. I am glad to see Na…he was awesome in KinnPorsche. If its anything like the former Club Friday series expect to at least see some scenes which are sexually explicit.
Well, it’s over and surprising even to myself I am hoping for a sequel…it was messy but entertaining . On a cold, snowy day I might even rewatch. Looking for a really good bl try Be My Favorite and Stay With Me. Take care.
I am definitely hooked. For me Duoduo is the unsung heroine and the shining light. She is my kind of girl. I never liked Barbie dolls either. Lol…I cant wait for our boys to get back together. I am anticipating the appearance of the girlfriends….that should be really wild.
At this point I dont care if this is a bl or a bromance. It is just a beautiful story about love, loss and the true meaning of family. It is a universal story that I feel anyone can relate to. I usually find it hard to stay with a series over 12 episodes but when the storyline is written well I find myself being drawn in more and more like I am with this series.
I am loving this already. The mls are among my favorite actors. This is so different from To Sir With Love and I love that. I like seeing actors take on different roles and I enjoy the more mature ( I call them adult) bls. They do need to fix the subtitles. I am hooked. How will these two end up on the same side ? It is going to be quite a ride.
