The hyung between hero and murderer and I'm so conflicted about it OMG
Rather than statue of limitations, the challenge would lie in getting them the punishment they deserve in court. Even though they were responsible for the death of those firemen as well as his family, the court will require him to prove their "intent to harm\kill". Most likely they would have gotten away with very light sentence. This is one of those cases where exposing them in the media would have been the best choice, but given hyung's hatred for the reporters, that was also unlikely.
Should i watch it? i don't want it to be like Heirs: overly overrated. because PSH and LJS. Should i watch it?…
It's definitely not like Heirs. If you have to compare, then it's more like IHYV, after all they have the same writer and director. The characters and the story in this drama is turning out well, and i hope it will remain so till the end.
I really hope in spite of it all, that In Ha proves them ALL wrong and becomes an impeccable Reporter. I hope…
True. speculating and creating stories is part of reporter's job, but making sure that your actions doesn't destroy another person's life is part of being a responsible human. If they wanted, they could have gone with the story that Dal Po's father is probably dead with his body yet to be found. but that wouldn't have made a selling story. So instead they reported a story of a greedy chief who was responsible for the deaths of his subordinates and is on run. Just to make their careers, they screwed the lives of a family already facing a tragedy. In my opinion, you can't let those reporters off the hook on the pretext that they were just doing their job.
Now coming to the topic of Dal Po's reaction, after giving it some more thought, i am not sure if that was just an emotional outburst. Perhaps at the moment, he really decided that someone like In ha should not be a reporter until she realizes the impact her words will have, as a reporter and as a pinocchio. But whether he really meant what he said, or if it was just his anger talking, we will only know in the next episode.

I think Dal Po's anger was justified. I mean he witnessed first hand how much his mother suffered because of the speculative reporting done by reporters at that time. On top of that, he learns that all those speculations were wrong and his father had been dead all this while. Do you expect him to sit quietly while someone tells him that no one is to be blamed for that incident and it was just an accident?
Although it may seem like a low blow, we all know that wasn't his intention. He just couldn't control his anger at that moment and i am glad In Ha didn't interpreted it as a betrayal either.
In round 2, wouldn't the best strategy for cha woo jin be to partner with the "betrayer X" in order…
As far as we were shown, Nam Da Jung is the only player with debt in round 2. The rest of them did not look stupid (or nice) enough to have spent away the 500 mil from 1st round. They should be easily able to return 250 mil on losing and thus exiting the game with a positive balance.
In round 2, wouldn't the best strategy for cha woo jin be to partner with the "betrayer X" in order to maximize his gain (which he can share with nam da jung if he wants)?
Instead they kept the same strategy from the original version. but that strategy only made sense because of the debt factor for the losers and the fact that nao and akiyama pair wanted to save as many people as they can.
The story is staring to veer towards the Korean style of dramas:- more emphasis on the love triangle and relationships…
It would be wrong to say that the original plot did not put any emphasis on relationships. but it was done in a unique way. The original version put more focus on showing how people were attracted to each other by listening and appreciating their music. You could also sense the passion everyone had towards music, and how it connected them together. This is what made both the jdrama and the manga delightful. but somehow that main message seems to have been lost in this korean version.
