Where to begin, the first 8 ep just pissed me off. At first it was okay but it felt like they wanted to drag it cause arc had already confessed the first 4 ep I think. They were basically together but not together which tbh made no sense and got boring really fast I was ready to drop it. you don’t need the first 8 to understand the other story I recommend skipping but once you get to yotha and gun it’s the best fr their story really does have a better plot and kind of make you look forward to them getting together. Each episode felt exciting and their emotions were portrayed very well. The high rating probably were for them cause Perth struggled to connect with another pair after saint but to me he match with Santana even more

This is nothing like I expected, uwma Win was a buzzed guy who was chill and laid back but in this series we see his background and how before he met team he was his cold guy who barely smiled or entertained others if it wasn’t his brothers his friends included.

Not only that but I see team from his point of view which makes me realize how innocent and friendly he is cause he was too hyper for me in uwma sometimes.

I’m not finna lie I watched uwma for winteam and I tried to keep up with the smallest event they held cause they had so much chemistry I was actually hesitant thinking between us can’t measure to the expectation.

But as for episode one I can tell you it’s worth the wait

Tbh one episode a week isn’t bad, I also was that kind of person who feels like I’d rather wait than watch one ep each week but boy does it keep you on your toes.

You find yourself looking forward to those days and actually being excited, not only that but you actually appreciate it more when you have to wait and getting on TikTok and seeing others making edits and discussing about it is the cherry on top.


My advice is you watch At least between us and try waiting for every Sunday cause I find those boring Sunday's that was just another day the it day. Thursdays, Sundays and Monday’s are those days for me.

Well I’m just saying it how it is, it’s okay if you feel like you didn’t like how much a character changed after all that’s your take on it and not anyones problem but also y’all nitpick the smallest things and just like you say it’s your opinion this is mine as well and I do have the right to express it.

You don’t have to like everything about it but most bls talk about Sa it might be uncomfortable but it’s also reality cause these things happen and it needs a light to be shed on.

And I just say it how it is cause wether you write it not to influence people as you say remember that reviews are made for people who mostly haven’t watched a particular show and want to get to know it before you write one remember that next time.

The thing about these reviews is what you say can literally make or brake a show for a lot of people if you don’t know I’ll tell you that, cause a lot of people read reviews before watching a series and let me tell you not just me but multiple people I see on TikTok make videos talking about how they didn’t like the reviews on this show so they didn’t watch and all that so understand that what you take as nothing is actually something cause your words influences people at the end of the day. I have skipped so many bls based on reviews and only when I got on TikTok and see clips do i realize that it’s a completely different thing from what it is portrayed. These actors put their time and effort into their work and I get if it’s some sloppy plot or stupid story like but give the good ones their dues. My point is what’s good is good y’all don’t need to look for faults in the smallest things. Y’all complain they sexualizing SA instead of spreading awareness, now you have a show who does just that and that’s an issue? Like damn what y’all want. And this series is about men in the mafia world were you looking for fluff and all that when these are thugs who kill people for a living ? Come on make it make sense.

While you do make certain points I disagree with some things you said.

The first is some people do not understand where KP were coming from and I think you’re one of them and that’s not a bad thing. The sexual assault that was a no for everyone which a lot of people tend to say have a problem with it but KP wasn’t like tharntype who sexualized it no KP was shinning a light on it hence why they took two episodes talking about it and more in further episodes when Vegaspete happened. It wasn’t sexualizing rather showing no matter the reason consequences comes with your action on others mental health that’s why they showed how Pete was falling apart and getting depressed and Vegas acknowledging where he’s wrong and Kinn always remembering he did wrong and trying to change himself.

Now when it comes to bl I feel like a lot of viewers use that as a reason to criticize bl, or downgrade a series. The Sa , drugging, Pete torture in KP was more of an enlightenment to show how this actions even if attraction is behind it is still toxic in every way, and I feel like a lot of you don’t get that and jump the gun. Porsche changing after dating Kinn is because unlike before he fell in love with him and we all know how love changes a person I mean Kinn went from a heartless monstrosity to having the warmest smile.

You talking about a healthy relationship on that I think you don’t really get what this series was about, none of them have that and the series has also portrayed that. It shows how imperfect their love is and despite that at the end of the day they are both Human and working through it and till the end wether it’s trust issues or an ex messing with your relationship no one is perfect and everyone has their flaw hence why porsche has run with Vegas. And it’s not much of Porsche not trusting Kinn but not wanting to put him in a place where he has to choose between he or his dad.

Kim’s investigation was for him and as for him, he didn’t do it to bring his father down rather he wanted to really understand what’s up with his family and why a lot of things didn’t make sense.

My last point is there is just no winning with you bl fans fr, so far KP has been the most high budget bl and yet y’all find a way to criticize everything, I was shocked watching it cause they did spend a lot on it but y’all forgetting at the end of the day making a real explosion causes a lot more than you think and this ain’t marvel they’re also trying to save money and spend it on other things. Let’s not forget boc is still a new company.


I came back to reply to this because when I first came across this series your review made me doubt a lot on watching it cause it felt like it’s any other bl series which romanticized SA and swept it under the rug but watching it a lot of your points lacked a lot of things. All I ask is before you write these reviews start with in my opinion, cause I feel like while you watched it you didn’t really understand a lot of things and points they made.

I’ll say hands down this series had the biggest budget out of all the bls I’ve watched, the chemistry was amazing and every actor really brought forth your emotions. Vegaspete wasn’t really my cup of tea and still ain’t but I got to also see how someone so toxic could try to change and make up for stuff he’s done but I still am waiting for season two to see if he keeps up with the promise he made Pete.

And just so you know these are men in the mafia so there isn’t anything healthy about their environment. They are Literally thugs who kill people for a living so what you expect from that fluff and all that soft shit? Nah this just not the genre for that so stop looking for a spot plot in a show that’s not about that.

I hope that people who come here looking for this series know that this series tackles of triggering issues and so be prepared before you watch it.
