Anyone else bothered by the kiss in this episode? Surely we're meant to have a degree of intimacy between the main couple by now? Leading up to the kiss Queen was showing vulnerability, but that kiss felt like a teenage boy going at it. Where is the sweetness? Even if it's passionate, there must be a level of intimacy & it's just lacking. There's clearly no intimacy coordinator onset. TK & the rest of the cast are doing a decent job with what little material they have to work with, but Nur needs to desperately hone her craft, her acting is so grating to watch. Not going to get into everything else wrong with this series, pretty much covered by earlier comments. Sigh.
Do you know if this is going to be available on WeTV too?
Every other episode has been on Channel 3 & WeTv (uncut version), why wouldn't special episode? Obviously not on the day of fan meet, but they've always aired special episodes from every other series. If not on Chanel 3, I'd be shocked if WeTv or Velcurve Studio YouTube channel doesn't broadcast it.
if I were the actresses I'd be pretty pissed. If you take scenes on their own the acting is solid. but then someone…
Still waiting to find out why Alin left for 8 years with no contact, & asking why Jane forgave her so easily. & how is Alin so in love with Jane already after being so heartbroken like a week ago. If it wasn't for the chemistry, I would've dropped this series. 🤣
if really feel sad for mind. she is not bad , just situations like that it would be good if they hug last time…
Yes, Mind genuinely loves Aokbab & I loved their scenes together, even the heartbreaking one's. People also don't understand Asian filial piety, it's pretty crazy! This show was so wholesome all round. So thankful for Love Design & Queendom, feel like we've entered a whole new era of Thai GL with quality storytelling, performances, direction, editing, cinematography, costume design, music score/soundtrack ... & no hyper-sexualisation of women in sight. Looking at you, Channel 3!
Definitely! and it feels like we got more scenes with her ex than with Rin .. but i think its because the series…
It was as long in hours as 14 eps of Only You. Every episode was 70 minutes, bar a couple. Every other series has 40-45 minute episodes. & GL series with a bunch of love scenes are pretty much always like that because there's no plot. Love Design focused on performances, writing, direction, editing, cinematography, costume design, music score. OST .. & not on love scenes. Best GL series ever produced.
does aokbab not have a mouth to speak???? u are doing all these relationship things with her yet u both haven't…
It's called being in character. If we were all the same, there would be no character growth. In the same way Rin has grown from a selfish shite to someone Aokbab & the design team can count on, Aokbab will come into her own, too. Have you watched watched episode 6 & 7 yet?
This is the first time in weeks that I don’t want it to be Thursday. I don’t want to say goodbye to this series.…
There's a special episode released at fan meet on Dec 5, so I think will be chapter 9 from the book (the book is just the TV script turned into a book) & a Japanese wedding. Plus KaoJane are doing a reaction video to episode 6.
A Japanese wedding? Love it! So happy we're getting a special episode. The performances, writing, directing, editing, cinematography, costume design. musical score, OST ... are perfection. Love Design deserves all the accolades. Best Thai GL series to date, with Queendom a close second. Looking forward to more WeTV & Velcurve Studio content, & definitely more KaoJane 🥰
I wanted to love this show because Natsha is a fellow Aussie & I like the acting & visuals of this pairing, but it's giving Only You vibes. It's all over the place, the storyline, direction, & editing are choppy, the BGM is terrible, there's the constant crying, & the continued hyper-sexualisation of women by channel 3 is pissing me off to no end. What is with this inappropriate clothing? First we had TSOU where a doctor wears 6" heels & an open shirt at work. Then Only You with bodyguard wearing 6" heels & open shirt at work? Now we have My Safe Zone where a chef is working in a restaurant kitchen wearing a skimpy dress with 6" heels - no protective clothing such as pants & boots. It's such a disservice to the actresses, & it's treating the audience like fools. Like, WTAF, Channel 3?! Sigh.
I can’t believe there’s only one episode left! Every episode so far has gone by so quickly that I thought…
The book which came out after the series, which is actually just the entire TV script put into a book, has 9 chapters. There's also a special episode in the fan meet program that's on Dec 5, so expect one more episode to be released after Dec 5 bringing the total to 9. Almost every episode has also been really long, 70-75 minutes each, so we've been blessed with essentially 10+ hours of viewing time. Every other series has had 45 minute run times, so Love Design has actually had more minutes than any other GL aside from Only You. & if it does have a 9th episode, it'll be the longest running Thai GL ever.
Isn't it crazy how newer studios with fairly new or unpopular actresses better make GLs? Love design, roller coaster,…
You must be a foreigner. Kao & Jane are huge in Asia, especially Thailand, Kao has been around for a long time - winning many awards. & since leaving GMMTV Jane has been winning a bunch of awards, too. Before Love Design Kao already had 10+ million Instagram followers. Jane almost 2.5 million. They're not new actresses, nor unpopular. Neko was great in Roller Coaster & deserves her own pairing, carried that series. The company though should be ashamed of themselves with. Clairebell - pairing someone so old (28) with someone not even an adult (19) in Thailand. So not only in a sexual relationship onscreen, the company has them sexualising fan service offscreen. It's wholly irresponsible & pretty fkn gross.
Really struggling with Nur's acting, just find it so grating. Impressed with the others, especially TK who's had little to no acting experience. Nur's Mum is great, too!
I understand where you're coming from as it relates to the non consent from Queen. Its definitely not okay for…
Yeah, the romanticising of SA, SH, & stalking in that series that has almost no plot is unconscionable. But hey, they've thrown in a sex scene every episode since, so the troopers are happy. Sigh.
Honestly, ever since Pluto, I’ve come to the conclusion that almost every GL there is always adds a “spicy”…
Love Design is GOAT - it's streaks ahead in every possible way. Queendom, Pluto & Us next in line. Petrichor also good. I struggle with the rest, it just seems to be unnecessary sex scenes for lack of a storyline.
Four episodes are done and four more to go and it is safe to say that Love Design is The G.O.A.T GL. Period it.…
Need to remember that Love Design is 75 minutes in length each episode. So, with the exception of Only You with 14 episodes with running time of 45 minutes (10.5 hours total), Love Design is by far the longest GL totalling 10 hours viewing time. Even Queendom with 12 episodes with running time of 45 minutes only had total viewing time of 9 hours. I love the 8 episode format with 75 minute episodes, especially when every line of every episode strengthens the storyline of each character. Love Design, along with Queendom, are standouts, the 2 best Thai GL's ever produced. Look forward to more of this type of special.
