I think he values her because he think that she is weak, she has no foundation , and no connection to the noble familie. we saw how he reacted when he found that she was trying to creat a connection for her and her son. what he really appreciate is that he is more powerful than her. not like the empress (LR and LC mother) who had the status and the heritage of a powerful family behind her
I can't wait for towmorrow episodes, the scene with PWX hugging LR was very funny, it seems the bickering is back, but we will also see her standing up for him, and him resolving some of previous regrets. we can see that both of them are trying to deal with the past, PWX has it easier since he had a clear view of evertything and knows exactly his feeling and expectations along with the dangers they will face, meanwhile LR has a restricted view since she hadn't knwon many things in the past and took everything at face value, that's why right now her perspectives are lacking, but she can make for it by her intelligence, and she knows that she needs PWX to succeed hope for more
I think that the confrontation at the end of ep 11 will be the first time they really deal with the past and present feeling. both are complex characters. both have their prides and aren't easy to express their sentiments. but thanks to their mental age both had mellowed somehow and are ready to compromise. PWX understood that he couldn't convince LR of his love and of SRQ duplicity right away so he staged the matchmaking at the wedding night to force LR to deal with her feeling. he knows that right now both of are pushing away their feeling and dealing with a complicated political situation where not just their future is uncertain but even their life is uncertain, specially since the emperor (LM) hate the noble family, and seems to hate LR and LC I can see the heated situation in the court will delay their dealing with their feeling
right now I think that both main leads are confused, they are both clinging to past feeling and impressions, their main focus right now is the political situation, trying to correct what they both felt was the mistakes of the past in the politic for their feeling I think both of them pushed it to the sides prefering to think of it after the crisis
really love it, ZLH really done a wonderful job with his work, we can see the mastermind that was Xie wei but without the creazyness, we can also see the tenderness of his character in my journey to you and Maiden holmes. it really had the right dose of politics and family drama. I really loved the bickering between the leads, it was really funny can't wait for more

his uncle, Yan Lin father found out earlier, in the 12 or 13 episode. JXN found in episode 32, and Yan Lin in episode 33. for his father it was in episode 34, and the rest in the last episode
that scene in episode 32 was hilarious, but I can't help but think about her father reaction to JXN participation in the palace attack and the revelation about her relationship with XW it would be another hilarious confrontation
