This drama was amazing. The story, the acting, the production were beautiful.
If you liked Ashes of love, Eternal Love, Love and Redemption etc, you will definitely love this one. I practically marathoned it.
Wish there were more episodes, that I hadn't finished it so quickly. I know I will rewatch it. It's hard to find these kind of dramas, of such quality, and I know, as many of you commented, that it will be hard to move on from this show even after watching others....

So what now? He's going to take her back even though the reason she was expelled is still there? Can he take back his order as a king? (like Dong Yi Kings' style... now that she's with a child)???
And It keeps bothering me the fact that, even if she loves him, he is still the man who ordered her father's death...

I cried so much in this episode!! Don't know how it's going to end, even I don't know how I want it to end. But I really want to see some Yuri and Gang Hwa moment.
I understand it from Yuri's point of view. I know he remarried, I know Min Jung saved him in a way and that it's not fair for her. But I feel like he lacks some emotion maybe? towards Yuri. I mean, he cried and missed her so much, and now that she's here... not even a hug? not even a deep talk?

I enjoyed the drama, but maybe because I'm used to chinese palace dramas too, I feel like this show lack some realism and deep. I would have like that they deep more in some matters and characters. Maybe if it wasnt's a comedy, if it was a melodrama/tragedy instead, they could have make a better tale. The romance was so-so because it goes to a second plane after Goo Hae Ryung's character as a modern and independent woman for that period.

I agree with all of them. Fuyao is my favourite!!
I would add to the list:

- Dong Yi (KDrama: Dong Yi (2010))
- Tan Yun Xian (CDrama: The Imperial Doctress (2016))
- Li Wei Young (CDrama: The Princess Wei Young (2016))
- Bai Ping Ting (CDrama: General and I (2017))

There's something that I didn't understand in the finale:

Did Rong Le really decide to return with Wu You and her son after 5 long years? Did she stayed alone in Western Qi all that time?

I really liked this F4, the ost and the story so far until I reached ep 49.
This ending was so... weird. I was sure all the wedding thing was just a dream that she had after collapsing. It doesn't make sense, suddenly she appears there with her wedding dress? The final episode was terrible, I prefer the korean one.
Also, I had read the manga, why is it that in all versions they decided to ignored Lei/Rui's deep feelings for Shancai/Tsukushi? In the manga he was TRULY in love with her.
