That's the feel I get. He tolerates. And he thinks of JiHun like a buddy. I don't see that changing drastically in these final two episodes when he's already had 10 episodes to warm up to the idea.

That's my problem with it as well. We don't have a clear passage of time, but we can reasonably assume it's been months. Still in the "shock" period, maybe, but they should have had some serious talks and progress by now.

It might not matter to her, but I think it would matter a lot to JiEun/JiHun and to the viewers. That is a major character issue that I'm having a problem with. I'm definitely annoyed and angry at her for being so awful. I don't see her as confidently pursuing what she wants. I see it as being pathetic and/or narcissistic and I really don't like her. But he doesn't even put up the bare minimum of resistance where she's concerned and that feels like a huge thing, especially when his relationship with JiEun/JiHun is so complicated.

I'm fine with the premise. I just think they have miscalculated some of the plot points.

I don't know what the end game is. What does an HEA for them even look like? And if the major assumption is correct and she returns to her female form in the finale, how are we to believe that it's her final form? It seems like her grandmother and great grandmother switched once, from female to male. Her mother switched twice, from female to male to female again. I've lost count with how many times JiEun has switched. Which means, at the very least, whoever she ends up with is going to need to be okay with the possibility of her being in her male form part of the time.

And she can't be expected to be happy living without physical affection from her boyfriend/husband during that time.

Then the latest tidbit ... that the grandmother didn't change until she was 40 ... means that JiEun's sister could still change at some point. Interesting storyline she has, since it's okay if not everyone ends up matched up at the end. But I'm wondering why we haven't heard more about the possibilty of her changing.

YunJae makes me mad because he doesn't resist or avoid MinJu's grabby hands. Even if he doesn't want to cause a stir on his own behalf, he should do it on behalf of JiEun/JiHun (them). We know he knows it's wrong and that he's hurting them because when this happens in from of them, YunJae's eyes will immediately look to them and sees their reaction ... then he'll eventually pull away from MinJu. He needs to pull away first ... or better yet, back away when she goes for him.

Also ... Kim JiEun and Kim JiHun sound almost identical. Seems almost given that they would be related if they show up in the same small group. How did they not set up the false story that the 2 of them are siblings/twins or cousins in the very beginning so they didn't have to freak out anytime people got curious about why YunJae was so cozy with JiHun? Would easily explain why either version of them were at the apartment at any given time.

Which is why I'm perplexed that the male version has had so much screen time. It's like the series is offering up this great option then pulling it away for a convenient wrap up.

I just want Yun Jae to pull out of MinJu's grip every time she grabs him. If he sees her coming, he should back away so that he isn't within arms reach. To tell her to stop touching/grabbing/restraining him. To tell her that definitively that he isn't interested/available and that if she doesn't respect that or him then they can no longer be friends. That's what I mean when I say I want him to set boundaries.

I don't think anyone wants him to get violent with her. She is completely unhinged and that isn't his fault. But how he deals with it is on him.

He shouldn't be putting up with it even if he were single. Uninterested is uninterested no matter what the reason. But every time his eyes immediately go to JiEun/JiHun when MinJu gropes him tells me that he knows it's wrong and that he's hurting JiEun/JiHun, but he still lets her get that close to him.

What we know from the series

1 - Knight and Mud are 4th years, Mild is a 2nd year
2 - in the 11th grade of high school Mud "stole" Knight's girlfriend. Mud claims that he went after the girlfriend because he knew that the relationship was pretty much over anyway since Knight liked someone else, specifically adding that it was a guy. That was either revealed to try to shock Mild or maybe see if Mild responded to the hint.
3 - Based on their current college years, Mud and Knight are 2 years older than Mild ... so them being in 11th grade in high school would put Mild in 9th grade.
4 - the high school party at the house ... based on the "stolen girlfriend" clue ... we don't know if the party or the girlfriend came first, but Mud and Knight are still friendly at the party. It's likely that this is still 11th grade for them.
5 - Even if this happened when Mud and Knight were in 12th grade ... it's atleast 4-5 years later. Plenty of time for him to do whatever investigating he wanted.
6 - Mud and Knight are in the same engineering faculty ... and Knight is said to be the faculty darling, everyone loves him and is ready to go after Mild in episode 1 when they saw that Mild punched him. With Mud and Knight in the same faculty, why has it taken this long for them to come to blows? Mild asks why they aren't friends anymore but the question seems more like a recent development instead of the several years it's been. I originally thought that Mild may have just been a freshman and not seen them fight before, but learning that he's been there 2 years already flattens that theory.
7 - Knight tells Mud that he won't let Mild go this time .... which with this new information seems super creepy. I truly hope it actually means that it wasn't him and he's planning to defend himself with something believable that doesn't just act like a cheap "gotcha" from the writers. However ... Knight confirmed it was him in ep 5. And readers of the novel confirmed it was him in the book, no one else.
8 - From the flashback, the assumption is that Mild is remembering the attack. Either he put it behind him the best he could or blocked it completely until being re-confronted with it just now. Maybe he'll remember it was Knight or maybe he never knew who it was. If we are supposed to believe that the attack happened the same night as the party, if it wasn't Knight then it was one of Mud's other friends. Doesn't change the fact that it seems like everyone at the party knew this happened, that it was Knight, and no one thought it was weird when he was there at the reunion party ... with Mild there seemingly unbothered? I know I'd be asking questions as soon as he walked in the door.

Re: "Mild was already naked when Knight went in the room so it couldn't have been him."

All we know is that he wasn't wearing a shirt. He's sleeping and could have had on pajamas pants or sleep shorts on under the blanket. And even if he was naked or only had on underwear ... he's sleeping ... in his own room with presumed privacy. Whatever he was wearing (or not wearing) does not prove anything.

Has anyone posted about Thee's family tree. He is the grandson to the king .... and they call his grandmother a princess ... but I thought his father was the son of the king. Same as with Prince Mai, being the son of the king. Is that right?

These 3 short clips are not enough to tell the story. Actors were fine, the plot concept was fine. But the brief snippets did not have enough details to flow cohesively. I don't know if it would have been better as 1 full edit instead of split into 3 parts, but the time in between episodes did not help.

my 3.5 is basically for the 2 leads and the woman who played 10+ roles in 40 minutes. I think they did fine with what they were given, but it looks like half of the story was left on the cutting room floor.

who is the woman who kept showing up in random ways ... the driver, the hotel staff, a tourist on the beach, etc. I know I've seen her in something. Something where she wore traditional Thai clothes stands out most ... so I'm thinking whatever I saw her in was a period piece.

Strong start but started to get wobbly around the middle and stalled at the end. I think the super short episodes worked against the story in this case.

All my 5 stars are for the actors because they did a great job with what they had to work with. As for the story ... this is more an outline of events than an actual story. Are we really not going to see whatever danger the woman kept talking about? No word from his family?
