You might think that this movie was abit mundane or the storyline not grand, but I'm sure that's what's intended. It's about living with dignity and normalcy as a different person in society, so it's not supposed to be grand, it's a story about aclimitization and self acceptance, the movie does this in a very non pretentious way and there's alot of merit in that. I understand and respect your perspective, and I do agree with you. I just don't like the pacing, I think the script was also very story driven and superficial, I just wished they focused somewhat on the characters cuz there were some instances of flashbacks and recalls which at the end of the day came off as disconnected, what kind of movie asks their viewer to guess this much or fit all the pieces of the puzzle together, they should atleast be given a hint or something. This movie lacked that and overall made it very boring at least for me. And yeah, the wailing is a bit overhyped, it was honestly too long lmao. I'm more of a thriller person, I didn't even categorise this movie as a horror tbh.
