Yeah now i can see why its so popular and i totally agree with your opinion.Somedays i also feel like watching something that is simple in its potrayal,CM is definately a show to uplift you after having a bad day while ITSAY is smthing that gives you alot to think about in the end.Both of them are good shows at their own places!

There are so many people that like cherry magic and rate it tremendously high.i did watch the first 3 episodes and i get that why people like it but arent there alot of other japanese bls that are also really good like life on the line and restart after come back home(which is a bl movie btw).im not hating on your opinion but what is so sensational about cherry magic tho.ITSAY has a really different vibe to it,its in a whole different league cuz ive never seen a bl like that but on the other hand cherry magic is really good but it dosent have a very deep plot or it dosent leave a very big impact on me like ITSAY did,so i really dont get why it is super popular?.i hope im not being rude im just honestly curious as to why its considered a masterpiece.

Honestly,dont watch this drama with very high expectations.You will be left dissapointed.

The plot itself isnt the best cuz they dont really explain the context behind alot of scenes.I find the editing and the pacing of the show extremely jarring,so the direction isnt the best.The acting is good and there is a good chemistry between the leads but i feel like the pacing of their relationship was a bit erratic aswell.If you are gonna watch it for the love story facet then its kinda okay i think,but they try to create alot of other sub plots which are a waste of time tho cuz they never care enough to explain the surrounding details.its a solid 6/10 drama not the best but rather so-so.if you want to watch a bl with a good plot i can recommend!

I dont know mann...i just cant seem to like her character tho.Even if we ignore the cheating,her personality just gets on my nerves.She tries to outsmart everybody with her petty arguments,very unlikable in my opinion.This is a weird show honestly cuz they kinda tried to normalize the cheating,im just very against cheating(tmi:one of my parents did have an affair with a very young person,and the consequences have vastly affected my family and me aswell)ik you just shared your opinion, but when i see people defending cheating in any case it kinda hurts lol.Im sorry if this comment dosent make any sense :/

Its just sad to see people patronizing cheating in the act of shipping the two main leads.this show is anything but realistic,karma is a thing in the real world and actions have consequences.my main isssue wid luc's comment is that you are trying to defend cheating wid the argument that Haiquing was depressed(when the cheating was clearly motivated by lust),in the process you arent only promoting something which is morally wrong but also alluding that people wid mental illnesses are bound to hurt people around them,giving them a very bad reputation.if this show potrayed the negative aspects of cheating and how severly its consequences effect people i wouldve been totally okay but the two leads ended up together which ends up normalizing cheating,if they wanted to make it realistic they couldve shown the two leads severing ties after the honeymoon phase was over.what im trying to say is these kind of superficial relationships wid lack of commitment dont really last long.i feel like you are just trying to give this show a positive feedback to seem like a contarian.even in other facets this show is pretty shitty,the acting was not that good,the editing and writing were abysmal and the chemistry between the two main leads was very unconvincing.i really felt like shit after watching this show,dont recommend it at all
