Honestly, the imperial wedding decree is a forced ultimatum to the FL, but I do have a thing with we all also imposing our choices on the FL. From the team Lin to team Han, or thinking based on the FL's economic standings, Han was the best fit for her. You are doing the same thing we are all complaining about, making choices for an individual well capable of doing that themselves. We are also disregarding what Lan Xiang wants for herself because we can see from our screens that Han seems better. This might seem minor to you because you are a viewer to a story, but it should serve as a lesson to us all. Even we as bystanders can fall into the trap of forcing others to our beck. We should honor her choice, though her current choice has been undermined, her choice to either love her husband with time or not should also be honored. It would be foolish to condemn her falling in love with her husband because of how they got married.

I've watched a lot of K-dramas that I've lost count but sincerely, no drama makes me feel extremely good like Reply 1988. I've watched all of the Reply series but they couldn't top it. I think Reply 1988 was made for people who want to go back to those days, the days of their childhood, days when everything was still simple and modest. I do want to spend just one day as a child and bask in the pure joy and innocence and Reply 1988 made me want to do it. If you ask me to list the best Korean dramas ever, I would start with Reply 1988 for sure!!
