Neither I pinpointed a specific drama nor I mentioned a specific person. for the record, if the same kind of comment is posted by a person under a romcom page he gets bashed there too. so this isn't about thrillers or romcoms there's always a biased opinions by one or the other.

no you don't need to watch stranger to understand his character. In this spinoff is where he gets character development which shapes him into a different person. his character is potrayed as morally grey in sequels he's the kind of guy who tries to keep up with social hierarchy and capitalism of those above him.
