I started watching this only because it was from life on mars screenwriter. han tae joo was such a neatly written character with immense character development even though he had ex he focused on solving cases and finding about his past. but writing of ML here is questionable unable for the viewers to connect if this continues I might clock out. At the end of the day, it seems like everything is about face card.

I agree, I could atleast bare with signal and life on mars but the misogyny and tomfoolery in tunnel was unbearable pissed me off big time. I don't like a laid back main character in a police procedural. I hope son sukku plays a cutthroat and morally ambiguous detective in his upcoming detective drama.

btw a drama is in works about the hwaseong serial murders briefly if ending of tunnel, memories of murder let you down.

I think this is what you have on mind as well. I'm also suspecting someone from the criminal analysis unit. I'm all in for a red herrings but not a dramatic reveal or a dramatic motive for murder like the writer's previous work.
