I am so sick of people complaining all the time, not only in this drama...in every bloody drama! If you could do any better than this cast get out there and do it I will get some popcorn and have a good laugh. The rating is NOT fake, I rated it 10/10 too, why? -because I like it a lot...and I am not a stupid bot. There is nothing perfect in this world...perfection is an illusion. This drama is Perfectly Imperfect. Don't look at the dodgy comments start watching, if you don't like it then drop it, so simple. There are also complaints about the main leads not having enough screen time, as much as I LOVE them both so much, the director gave everyone a chance to shine for a change and all the actors including the insignificant villagers performed so well which will give them a chance to get more work in other future dramas. You can't tell a good story with just 2 characters.If you need to blame someone, blame the censorship and the limit of 40 episodes. A few more episodes would have been much better to get the whole story. I appreciate all the effort all these people made to entertain us and you should too. The beautiful vibe I had about this lovely drama was ruined by ungrateful ill speaking people.

The drama deserves much higher rating. Despite the terrible subtitles and only having 21 episodes the acting of the 3 main leads was superb. I wish they made it into a longer drama. Zhu Li Lan and Richard Li had insane chemistry and the kissing scenes where HOT. I wish to see these 2 actors in a high budget dramas as they surely are good enough to play in those.

I have nothing against China itself and the Chinese people! I just hate being controlled and limited by any stupid government. I actually think most of you guys are so nice and you have an amazing culture, heritage and dramas of course. There is no western propaganda here, I had to leave my native country because our government was so bad and corrupted that it let its people suffer and starve. After reading some of the earlier comments I have to say that I am shocked that you guys have to work 9am-9pm 6 days a week 😵💫 This is a modern day slavery at the highest level! I hate all governments in general but yours truly sucks :( And restricting all the dramas to only 40 episodes it's just so unfair - I would gladly watch 100 episodes of this drama...every second with Tantai Jin and the rest is worth watching. Controlling the popularity of a person removing love scenes what a bunch of BS.
