I almost cried in the scene where Sosuke is crying and talking about how much he loves 'The Most' and it's people. You can see he really cares.
Also, this was the cutest episode. They are SO cute together...my heart can't take it...π
I'm feeling kinda bad for Higuchi, cuz' even when he says he's okay, you can see he's not moved on, but he's the only one suffering...I really wish we could've gotten to see him happy with someone too, but, there's only 1 ep left now...
I like how it wasn't obvious who the vice president would be...I never thought it would be Miyagi-Sanπ π
Is Higuchi really gonna make the sacrifice to save 'The Most'? There must've been a reason he hid his identity...I really hope it all works out...
Also, glad that Risa is moving forward and working towards her dream...Ahh...I don't want this show to end...π€§π€§
I actually started with j-dramas before k-dramas. Firstly, I get why people are so obsessed with k-dramas. They are well directed, with good music and actors, and like you said, they easily appeal to the international audience as well. But, for some reason, I can't quite get myself to enjoy them, as much as I love j-dramas. I try to watch k-dramas, but I end up giving up mid-way and get back to j-dramas. And it's not easy, cuz' most of the time there are no subs, and even if we do get subs, you have to wait for a long time to get them. But, I still like j-dramas for their storytelling, unique and sometimes weird ideas and also the acting.
Also, about your question. I actually kinda like j-dramas are not made global like k-dramas, cuz' they'll probably get influenced and lose their originality. Which I would absolutely hate. I like my j-dramas the way they are now. It's like, I want them to be successful and loved by people, but at the same time, I don't mind them being a hidden gem...π π People often say that j-dramas don't have good actors, weird stories, and that's probably true, but it's not exclusive to j-dramas, you just, have to be patient and keep EXPLORING. I started with movies that people would find anime-ish and cringey, but I absolutely loved them.π π It kinda hurts when people say stuff about j-dramas and actors without even giving them a chance cuz', I know that they are amazing. Even on MDL, j-dramas are always underrated. But, I'm extremely happy that even after all these years, j-dramas didn't lose their charm. And they just keep getting better. I always think that, "I probably won't get a j-drama as good as this again". But then I get to see something equally incredible. They just don't run out of ideas...even if they do, you can always make a live action adaptation of an old manga...π
OK so, there are only 3 episodes left...and Izumi and Wataru are moving further away from each other...As much as I like this show, I'll end up hating it if they didn't end up together, like, they are the leads right? Then WHY??? But, I know how j-dramas are. I've watched shows where people didn't end up together until the very end. But that's okay. I'm not complaining, just give me a happy ending so that I can move on with life...π π PLEASE...
Also, I'm absolutely loving Igarashi's character development here...like, I don't even recognize him anymore...
I don't know why I had been sleeping on this. It's so underrated. I loved it. The story, the acting, the music. It was perfect. I really enjoyed it a lot. It even made me cry in some scenes...Also, I was shipping the protagonist and Kuro, but, it was never confirmed whether they felt something for each other. But it was still cute the way they spent time with each other. Ahh...it was so good. And also very interesting...
OK, first of all, didn't Sosuke become way too soft?π π like, I didn't expect him to be like that when I started watching the show...but, I like to see him smile. And if you noticed, Ai was pretty much the only reason Sosuke would ever be happy(from the very first ep)...cute...π Secondly, I'm glad Risa and Ai made up. That letter she wrote to Sosuke, was kinda sad. Even though it was wrong of her to try to betray her best friend like that, I still kinda felt bad for her. Idk, I don't entirely hate her or anything...
And Higuchi, he always seems so carefree that you can't exactly read him. Is he sad? Did he move on? How'd he cope with it? Also, I'm glad he helped Sosuke with the proposal despite everything...
That preview. They are really looking like kids on a picnic after giving their exams...ππ they are so silly now, I love it. Can't wait to see more of them...uhh...I also have to study but I'm sure I'll take out the time for it somehow...ππ
The way the description says, "She decides to PURCHASE jun as her boyfriend..." Like, are we actually talking about BUYING a PERSON??? I love Yokohama Ryusei but...yeah...I don't think I can watch this show...the tags for this drama are so scary...π π
I've never seen Ryusei in a rom-com before (I think), any recommendations?
I didn't mean 35 is old, but her skin is flawless...
And I never said you turn into a granny at 29...
It's natural to have skin problems as you grow older, but that doesn't mean you're old. You could have skin problems as a teen too, and that's completely okay. But the fact that she's flawless at 35, must mean she takes real good care of her skin health. And that's what I was appreciating.
It just struck me, that throughout the show, the reason Masaki Suda's character always seems weird, might have to do with the fact that his past is traumatizing. With everything going on in the show, I forgot, even in the end, that his character lost everything one night, and even though he holds the power to go back, he can't go back before the accident. And he knows that, because he TRIED. He TRIED going back...and that for some reason is terrifying and sad...π
P.S: If you just, search up the theme song for the show, watch the video, and try to understand the lyrics, you can tell that this show was actually SO sad. Like, there's just so much sadness in this...I never realized it because of the comedy, suspense and romance...π π

That "thank you" at the end hurt me the most for some reason I don't understand. Loved the movie.

I literally watched it the moment it got uploaded...
And I never said you turn into a granny at 29...
