I think he’s insecure about her family because it seems he wasn’t favored by his father, at a young age he was tossed aside probably to live some place else and her family helped/sheltered him. He doesn’t like that, because it feels that he didn’t do it on his own, but that the Queen and her family put him their, I think that’s also why he “changed” so much after taking the throne, because now that’s his more powerful than her and will not treat her like a equal as before, and maybe because he fears being manipulated, the scene after they dance together people were praising the Queen e he was uncomfortable with that, not a jealousy way, but because they were praising her more than him. To me he has an inferiority complex, but let’s see how they develop the story

I’m on ep 3, and I still don’t understand their group dynamics, like why Binbin was at that dinner in the earlier ep 1? I first thought he was undercover, but the boss of their group (can’t remember his name) knows him and his police chief. It’s my problem that I didn’t pay enough attention or they’ll explain later? Do you think I can watch the rest of ep available and understand by context or should I give me rewatch the eps?

I’ve seen people complaint about FL being useless, but might be just me I quite like her Cha after more than PSJ. Also, I’m on ep 26 and before the drama seems to be about the group, but now it’s seems to be all about Yichen, and since the begging he’s not an interested enough character to be the only and main focus. I’ve talked to people that finished the drama, if not I would think this is just another quest for them to solve, but no apparently it’s about Yichen hero story. I think he was great as part os the group but not on its own. Zhou Yan for me has far more interest history and personality, and it’s seems he’s relevance is declining throughout the drama, if not him maybe focus on the group more. Does someone else have this feeling as well? Or have a different opinion to instigate me to finish the drama? Because he it’s gonna focus just on Yichen from now on I can’t take 10 more eps of it

Even tho I’m liking it the drama up to this point (ep26) the spy theme is thrilling to watch. However, I’ve been annoy with something about the story. I think is unforgivable what the writers did to Sebring Character, and I no even her fan. First of all, they show us how she study in the military academy with them to be a spy, as Quiping, then they kill her in the early game. I knew she was the FL so she couldn’t have died so early, when she came back as Tian Liu a university girl that was quite annoying at the beginning I hope that she didn’t really die but she just got a new identity. BUT NO apparently she was indeed a naive girl that just happen to look exactly like their friend in the past, I personally hate that. Now she died AGAIN, I still have hope to be surprised in the end about her story, even tho I really doubt it that they can fix it. I usually don’t like dramas that make woman character as objects da barely help the development, I’ve seen worst character than her but it was disappointing still, bring her back as someone else just because Fang Li liked her too to make this tension between them 🙄 the SFL is okay, she was indeed a spy of some sorts, that what I wanted to see with FL.
