I think he already knows but sometime down the line, she has to say "No" to prime minister and pick her husband side. Her family is ungrateful and don't care about her sacrifices, but prime minister is asking her to leak very confidential information about Imperial Guard deployments. That information is critical to Empress Dowager and child emperor safety, so if she leaks and they use it to hurt somebody from royal family. ML will lose his neck for it and even if he manages to contain the situation and minimize the damage, he is never going to forgive her for that. She will be left alone without support of her husband and ungrateful family, but FL is a smart person and it should not happen unless writers think otherwise. I hope she tells ML about it and he informs Empress Dowager to teach a lesson to prime minister faction, and they also invite FL mom to live in with them in Shen mansion. The leads work together for 40 episodes to investigate the cases and bring down "evil empress" faction.
