for me (I´m only at the beginning of ep3) I sympathize more with HJP because he wrote the letters and gets Dalmi, they were pen pals for 10 years. And NDS doesnt get her at all.

honestly based on what I saw in the first 2 episode HJP is just an ass… like really
If you´d have seen the scene at the bus station, you would know that HJP just acted like that because he´s an orphan. How can you say that he´s an ass when he helped the old lady to become relatively rich and helped writing the letters? In my perspective NDS is kinda stupid in the second episode, because he doesnt get her like HJP does. But I´m only on ep3 now

I feel you. Like why... The soldier would´ve propably missed anyway. At least Jin Ah survived. Propably they had to make the ending like that, to show that the Gwanju Uprising really hasn´t had an happy ending either
