I felt naksu personality so inconsistent. If we observe properly in these last 4 episodes. Sometimes she looks brave, intelligent. Sometimes she looks extremely dense, slow-witted. Writers conveniently using her character to fit in whatever scene they write.
I hope writers won't mess with her character. I don't want to see, all male leads rushing to save her when she is in danger. That's so old school.
I always pity ML in kdramas. He rarely got follwers, even if he got one, they make her unlikable, 2FL epic role. While FL enjoys good looking 2MLs, gets hugs, have emotional bond with them, Latest trend is drunken kisses with 2mls.
Even this drama is fantasy. Its no exemption, glad it didn't optimize with druken kisses with 2mls trend.

They are clearly trying it. Just pay attention to the music during their scenes. Uk seems so much happy, when he meet yul again. But yul seems not, it just unexpected moment for him to face Uk as he clearly trying to avoid him.
We saw these kind of second male leads characters in many many kdramas. It seems yul character is also going the same way.
They can easily give different kind of arc to Yul character in part 2 but he is just an romantic object to FL character.

It well written character. One need some talent to easily manipulate others. I'm glad he is not some namesake villan to highlight male lead, female leads heroism.
Yul and Naksu scenes are so awkward. I'm okay with their friendship but just don't give romantic vibes. Yesterday hug, today wrist grab felt completely unnecessary. It not only tone down yul character but also naksu character as she is now married to Uk, his childhoodfriend. Yul character seems extremely one dimensional even in part 2. I want to see him doing things for uk and be a supportive friend, instead I'm getting the vibes he doing all the investigation with keeping Naksu in mind. I don't know when will writers wrap out his longest drawn out one-sided love.
