I have a theory that for most Chinese dramas, the leads don’t get together until at least 75% of the way through, give or take an episode or 2. So, this drama, out of 24 episodes, the leads will get together around episode 18. For those dramas that have 36 episodes, leads don’t get together until episode 27. It seems to be mostly accurate for many dramas that I’ve seen so I don’t expect fast paced romance usually.

I love this series as much as Joy of Life! Up to episode 42 but don’t want to binge watch the rest yet coz I want to prolong this joy as much as possible. Delayed gratification. Is that strange? I think this is Leo & Dilraba’s best work yet.
