I am quite impressed with the story as there were a couple of things I didn't expect which happened and vice versa.
The story is not about revenge and does not have story of minglan kinda angst. We have the ML and FL bonding after marriage slowly, the ML was respectful and didn't consumate the marriage at any point in time (after 2+yr). He had to marry the princess of JIN state by imperial pressure. I was really happy to see a character like the princess who was selfless she genuinely cared about the FL and helped her become mature and educated her in running household and business.
The supporting characters like hao jie (FL bf) was really good. I was expecting the betrayal arc to be present but surprisingly it was better instead of backstabbing and jealousy they discussed the issues with each other and provided the necessary support.
As every drama requires a villain in this one it was the Crown prince, who was truly despicable and his tail the fourth prince who did some bad shit but mended and came around in the end. So we can say the bad were punished unlike in other dramas they are just forgiven as if nothing happened.
What more can I say? I feel I have said enough to convince you all to give this one a shot.
I really enjoyed every minute of it. No regrets! cute and fluffy without any angst. The ML was really thoughtful as he made the FL grow in to an independent and successful women by showering her with wisdom and love.
wow just great, could not stop watching. How great it feels watching a show without stupidity, bad cliché's and crazy love triangle. this was a breath of cool breeze right before winter, it was clean, sweet, cute and beautiful. Can not stress further. MUST WATCH!!
I've watched the K-drama twice, so I remember the details clearly. Here's my analysis. I enjoyed this adaptation, despite some minor changes. Firstly, the youngest son in the K-version was born to the same parents as the older siblings. In the C-version, the father remarries (his new wife leaves him and their baby early on), resulting in the youngest son having different mothers than his siblings. His friend/boss in the C-version is revealed to be his younger half-brother. The cousin in the K-version is married with a child studying in the Philippines (I think), but in the C-version, she's divorced because her husband had debts and ran away - we never see him. In the K-version, the sister gives birth to a child (after the father's death) while the doctor sibling is expecting. In the C-version, the doctor already has a child, and his father names him and is present for a short time after meeting his grandson - there's no hint about anyone else being pregnant.
I am writing this right after completing, so I might have missed on other details, so please feel free to reply below.
