They are reckless because they didn’t think that the school would have gone that far. The series is actually inspired by real life events where a Japanese girl sued her high school for making her drop out for breaking the no-dating rule. It’s not rare to find schools in Japan that forbid romance inside AND outside school. For many students, this rule is not fiction, it’s their real life. If this happened to your school, would you have ever imagined it would go that far? I think that this series wants people to start a conversation and it does a great job at giving you the space to make your own opinion instead of telling you what you should think.
