I Was Clapping at the End: Why Glory Is a Must-Watch
This was a complete drama from the very first episode to the final scene. Start to finish, Glory knew exactly what it wanted to be and it delivered. No wasted episodes. No dragging storylines. No messy ending. Everything mattered, everything landed, and when the credits rolled, I was literally clapping my hands. That is how you know a drama is good.
The pacing was perfect and the storytelling stayed tight the whole way through. Nothing felt rushed, nothing felt dragged out, and the emotional payoff hit hard because the drama actually put in the work early on. Every relationship, every conflict, every decision felt earned.
What really made this drama stand out for me was how smart it was. The female lead was intelligent, cunning, and always thinking three steps ahead. The male lead was just as sharp. Neither of them was dumbed down for the plot, and I loved that. When they teamed up, they were completely unstoppable. Their partnership was one of the most satisfying parts of the entire show.
The writing never slipped. Not once. Just when I thought I knew where the story was going, they would hit me with a twist and suddenly everything changed. The characters did not feel flat or predictable at all. They felt real, layered, and alive.
Nazha, Gulnezer Bextiyar absolutely killed it as Rong Shanbao. I was already a fan, but after this role, I am a full STAN. She owned that character from beginning to end. Neo Hou, Hou Ming Hao, is seriously one of the hardest working men in C-dramas right now. He is everywhere and I am not complaining. He was phenomenal here, and he matched Nazha’s energy perfectly. Together, they just worked.
This is 100 percent a female-empowering drama. Yes, there are a few familiar tropes here and there, but this show handled them in a way that felt fresh instead of tired. It felt different. It felt intentional. It felt refreshing.
I also loved learning about ancient tea growing and the families behind that business. That whole world was so interesting and added so much depth to the story. And the twists? There were so many moments where I was like, oh shucks, here we go again. I was watching every episode on pins and needles, waiting for the next one to drop.
If you had to watch this day-to-day, you know the struggle. And if you get to binge the whole thing without waiting, I am honestly jealous. You are in for such a treat.
There has to be a Season 2. There just has to be! There are way too many stories left to tell. And yes, we need a wedding and babies from the male lead and female lead. Period.
This drama gave us a satisfying ending that matched the journey.
I loved this drama. Loved it, loved it, loved it.
Rating:
10s across the board.
10s. 10s. 10s. 10s. 10s.
All the 10s.
I highly recommend Glory. This is already a serious contender for best drama of 2026 on my drama list!
Just outstanding.

FOR ME, this was THE MOST PERFECT ROM-COM I HAVE EVER WATCHED.
Let me begin with 2 words, YANG YANG. This man is perfection. HIS VOICE, HIS FACE, HIS BODY, and most importantly HIS SWAGGER. (He can GET IT!!!!!!)Dilraba has always been one of my Favorite top 5 - C-Drama actresses. I will watch anything she stars in. She is just a natural. She sucks you in with every character she portrays.
Yang Yang + Dilraba= Out of this world chemistry. (I so want to see them in another drama)
I knew from the 1st episode that this was going to be good. I just knew. I binge watched this series in two days. Normally with dramas over 30 episodes you know its gonna become "laggy" and that you will probably have to skip through a lot of episodes. Not this one baby! You will find yourself dreading the coming of the next episode because its means that your time with this magical couple is ending!
The drama in this drama made sense! It was believable and relatable. Some complain that there were too many love scenes between the leads...Pfft (let me wash your mouth out with soap).
In my opinion there weren't enough. I am greedy as He** and I wanted more.
The supporting cast was just right. NO annoying sub-storylines that no one even cares about and would have to fast forward over. Shanghai is a beautiful city, and this drama displayed the modernity of this cosmopolitan city.
You will not waste your time on this drama. If you are looking for something to make you FEEL GOOOOOOOD. Then look no further than YOU ARE MY GLORY!

It was like Torture!
If there was one character that truly needed a voice dubbing , it was this female lead character. The whining and childish prattle got on my nerves real quick. Normally I will try to look past it, but I just couldn't this time and just decided to fast forward over it.I have nothing against the actress personally, but she was just not the right actress to play this part and there was just no chemistry between her and the ML to even make me want to root for them to get together. The actress in the 2nd lead to me is much more suited for this type of role.
I watched the first 3 episodes without skipping but the show was so slow, I started skipping at episode 4 and completed the rest of the episodes in about two hours. I skipped through most of the series only to reach an ending that was ridiculous. I am so glad that I did not invest emotionally in this drama. I mostly watched it for the male lead, because I loved him from the untamed series. This series although beautifully filmed, was poorly written and not worthy of the acting talent brought together for this series. For the amount of talent that this filmed pulled, I expected a better product, but even great actors cannot overcome poor writing.

Another Zhou Lusi HOME RUN!
I watched LOVE LIKE THE GALAXY on Viki before watching this series on NETFLIX. Zhou Lusi is a NATIONAL TREASURE. I thought her and Leo Wu gave me fever, but her and Yang Yang, DAYUM! They kissed only once in this series, but my gosh, the chemistry between these two comes through your screen. Lusi would have chemistry with a rock if it was her leading man. Then there is Yang Yang! The word quiet sexy was invented for this man, it just was.Okay what did I like about the story:
1) I loved that they were always there for each other and to save each other/
2) ML+ FL we both smart and sensical.
3) Great supporting cast - Solid acting company- Strong female characters
4) They didn't spend too much time on a particular story arc, the story kept moving
5) Beautiful cinematography
6) Great Special Effects
7) Beautiful costumes
8) Musical score fit the characters and story.
What I disliked:
1) Killing off characters I like - C-Drama Staple that I HATE
2) Too many battle scenes with killing - became redundant after a while
3) That bittersweet ending - middle finger to the writer who came up with that curve ball at the end.
Overall, I don't regret one minute of watching this wonderful series and I highly recommend this drama. I will definitely watch again.

An unexpected SURPRISE!
Just finished watching this series on You Tube. It was in my recommendation feed. This series although short packed a punch. Like many of you, I fell in love with the ML He is so Freaking Cuteee! His Smile is EVERYTHING. I Liked the FL as well. Strong , Smart, don't take no S**t from nobody kind of heroine. There some missing holes, It wasn't clear at first if this was one of those " We switched souls/bodies kind of series", but it was. Loved everything up until the Zombie in the Mountain trash. The series stumbled there. The reconciliations with her siblings/family were nice. The attempted Assassination of the King at the end of S! made no sense, and the ending...her throwing herself in the lake after she discovered his identity made no sense based on the prior development of the FL. That was a big disappointment to me. From What I am hearing S2 will no be so good. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the 3hrs and 05 minutes it took to watch the entire series. I would still recommend if you ae looking for something enjoyable to watch. Was this review helpful to you?
A very surprising drama!
This was a genuinely entertaining drama from start to finish, and one that consistently exceeded my expectations. What impressed me most was its ability to keep surprising me throughout all 24 episodes. Just when I thought I had a clear sense of where the story was headed, the plot would introduce a new twist or character development that refreshed the narrative and kept it engaging. The pacing was especially well handled for a shorter drama, with very few dull moments or unnecessary filler. One of the strongest aspects of this drama is its portrayal of intelligent, capable female leads. The women were not only strong in title but also written as genuinely smart, strategic, and competent characters who actively drove the story forward. Their decisions mattered, and they were allowed to succeed (and fail) in believable ways without being overshadowed. This made their arcs satisfying to watch and added real depth to the overall story.
The male lead was equally strong and well-developed. Rather than dominating the narrative, he complemented the female leads effectively. When the characters worked together as a team, that was when the drama truly shined. Their collaboration felt balanced and earned, highlighting mutual respect, trust, and shared intelligence rather than relying on clichés.
From a production standpoint, the drama was very well made, especially considering its shorter format. The costumes were beautiful and thoughtfully designed, enhancing the visual appeal and atmosphere of each scene. The OST was decent and fit the tone of the drama well without being distracting.
Overall, this drama delivered solid storytelling, strong performances, and high production quality. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an engaging, well-rounded series that knows how to use its time effectively.

Six Years Later This Drama Still Resonates with Me
The Heiress was one of the first idol C dramas I ever watched. I enjoyed this drama tremendously up until the ending, and I’m sure most people will agree it was a really good watch right up until then. I was truly rooting for a happy ending, and while I can understand why she left since the Prince was pretty toxic, my shipper heart was still low-key hoping it would work out.Una You is one of the few female actresses who is actually quite adept at playing a gender-bending role, and she was very believable to me. I thought the story and overall setup were solid. The costumes were absolutely beautiful. The wedding gowns in particular were pure eye candy, and the OST was memorable.
It’s a shame that with so much going for it, the drama ended so horribly. Even so, I wouldn’t be averse to a season two. But honestly, the ride itself was fun for me. This drama still resonates with me six years later, so I’d definitely say it’s worth a watch.

When Second Chances Are Not So Simple
When I went into this drama, I honestly thought I was getting a typical rebirth story, where the main character gets a second chance to relive her life and make better choices. That alone already had me intrigued. But Scent of Time turned out to be so much more than that.I initially started this drama because I had recently discovered the female lead in one of 2025’s most popular C-dramas, The Female General, where she was absolutely fabulous. On top of that, seeing Wang Xing Yue, who I loved in The Double, as one of the leads made me even more excited to watch.
At its core, this drama is about redemption, but it is also about something much harder, accepting and living with the consequences of your actions. It does not shy away from the idea that not everything can be undone, even when you want a second chance. That theme really stayed with me.
I ended up binge-watching this drama because once I started, I genuinely could not stop. The story kept pulling me in, episode after episode. And the twist at the end? I was not expecting it at all, but I actually liked it. It made sense for the story they were telling and added an extra layer of meaning to everything that came before.
At the end of the day, Scent of Time is about consequences. Every choice you make matters. You cannot undo everything, but you can learn, grow, and take responsibility for your choices, and that alone carries meaning.
Scent of Time is thoughtful, emotional, and quietly powerful. It is the kind of drama that stays with you after you finish it, and I am really glad I gave it a chance.

Don't know what happened with this one
The series started quite strong but turned into a cliché. We struggle through numerous episodes for the couple to love each other and be together only to have the heroine turn into a fool. She gives up the man she loves to be with her dying mother. Throws him away because she can't love two people at the same time. DUMB. The soundtrack was memorable and fit the storytelling. The supporting characters were uninteresting, skipped over a lot of those stories. The ending felt rush and by the end, I frankly did not care how it ended. I don't plant on re-watching this drama. Was this review helpful to you?
It was good until it wasn't
I have nothing new to say. I was enjoying it up until Episode 14, and then I put in on pause for about two months. I went back to watch the last two and a half episodes so that I could remove it from my Netflix watch list. I then cried for 2 1/2 episodes. The original soundtrack from this series is the best gift you will receive. It will yank your heart strings. I don't think I will ever re-watch but I have wasted my time on worse dramas.I may be in the minority, but I loved the ML lead. He is so fricking cute and he is a solid actor. I have never seen him in a drama before. I loved his size. He is a tall dude compared to the actress being so small. I thought their chemistry was so heartwarming. I felt the love the characters had for each other.
I liked it. I didn't love it. But I liked it.
