I guess I'm the unpopular opinion on this one but this is my first drop of 2026. Maybe it's just not my style of humor because every scene people seem to think is funny, I find unbearably obnoxious. The slap fight at the end of episode 3? I cannot. And on top of that, these characters don't feel real to me. It all feels very fake and performative.
There’s wasn’t much logic in season 1 lol this is a kdrama after all, anytime expecting to the T logic is…
Yes there was. A woman taking out a scam loan during Covid because her restaurant is about to go under is very logical setup. Good kdramas are logical.
I loved season one, but I thought this was a HUGE disappointment. They gave up on character and logic in service of showing us the same fight scene a dozen times. I'm bummed tbh.
This was great. Both leads had really well written, powerful arcs and our 2nd male lead is my absolute favorite kind of character. If you like a redemption story, definitely check this out.
I loved this. I think it did exactly what it set out to do which is craft a really successful romance around the idea of being known. For some reason, people latched on to its portrayal of fans but it was never set up as a commentary on fan culture or idol life. From the jump we met two characters who weren't truly known by the people in their lives; who kept huge aspects of their inner selves secret and separate. The show as about the importance of forging connections and letting people in. The idol/fandom aspect was just the setting.
