Please read the book called the wisdom of crowds. While we are all people, crowds are groups of people gathered together sometimes for a function, sometimes due to space. People on MDL are a crowd, they are gathered together for the express purpose of enjoying dramas.
Now herein lies the difference and why I call crowds atupid. Netflix will recommend a show to you but you will not know the rating. Which means when you rate it thumbs up or down it has no influence on the crowds of people who use Netflix.
People will rate based on how they feel, after watching a Netflix show. People on MDL are more likely to rate based on how the crowd rates which is stupid

i didn't call people stupid, I called crowds stupid and I explained why

1. It has 100K reviews and is being remade in Thai because it is a good story. That's my point.
2. Lets do comparison shopping, there is a drama called Well Intended Love, that is about a couple falling in love after the man stalked her. It is a horrible show and has a 7.5. There is no way MIIGB should be in the same range as that show.
3. Literally people are following the crowd and saying MIIGB is horrible because others say it is horrible. Even though they watched it the whole way through, enjoyed it, they'll give it a 7.5 cos that is what others did.
5. Cha Eun Woo is not a great actor but this role suited him perfectly and I was praising the entire cast for their acting not just him
4. You don't like it, fine. It is clear our scales of good TV are different. I have rewatched this 3 times and loved every single showing. So please stop trying to get me to change my opinion

The acting is brilliant, nuanced acting that reflects it's subject matter. Characters are extremely well written and it is is not boring. If it was boring why is Thailand making its own version ? Why have similar stories dealing with beauty followed it? And why does it have over 100,000 reviews ? Anyway everyone has their opinions and I think it is great

This show having a 7.8 proves that crowds are idiots. This is an excellent show that examines the dynamics of perception on how we look and how we believe the world looks at us.

Honestly it was meh until episode 10 but after that it became out of this world excellent. They could have shortened those first 10 down to 5, that's my only complaint

Oh and the FL brother from this should be in the spin off. He was so funny, and such great acting from him

I am only halfway through so I have not seen every outfit. The red office wear was nice but they gave her thigh high boots that did not go IMHO. She usually looks so much better

So I rewatched this after a year and realized it is not that bad. I think i got caught up in the hate train it was receiving. I increased my rating from a 7.5 to 8. I wanted to give it an 8.5 but it really does have one of the most stupid break ups I have ever seen in dramaland AND I really did not like the leads exes

While these might be benign to some people, it was triggering to me. Shaking her, gripping her, threatening her with death are all acts of violence. You don't have to raise your hand to hit someone to be violent. In real life if a man did any of those things to me I would call the police. The writers made a choice on how these scenes worked and I don't like them

It wasn't. There are plenty of "bad guy" characters in dramaland who never rough up their women

Finished. Only thing I hated in the finale was Fan Ying's story. It was good but yeah should def come with a trigger warning
