This drama truly deserves its high ratings! Its gripping plot, the twists and turns, the way in which each revelations are presented, the acting!(especially the main lead) everything counts for a must watch for the fans of this genre, and I am saying this as a rom-com lover, even I loved it!
P.S. The father-daughter duo and their interaction is priceless!
Had a great time watching their journey, quite the mature and sensible bunch! Along with the 'romantic sparks', the friendship formed was a wonderful sight to experience, especially seen in their 'graduation' speeches at the end, and must say, few even made me cry! In conclusion, I though I was signing up for just a youth dating show, but I am actually taking home many lessons with me as well, about life, friendships, self discovery etc.
What a show! It takes so much creativity and intelligence behind the scene also, to come up with these upgraded and complex games, so a big well done to the makers as well as the cast!
thank you for the engaging read. I have decided that I won't be watching this... enough drama and heartache in…
Hahah yh you're right, that's my theory too, there can be enough heartaches in life as it is, why seek for more in fiction too heheh but you know what, at times I also think it's still fine if the story has a happy ending, then even those heartaches become part of a wholesome journey 😊 And that leads me to a recent favourite of mine I would suggest, called 'Twinkling Watermelon', which I'm sure will give you some laughs throughout its wholesome journey 😌
this is the best rated drama of all time on this site, is t that good? kinda curious
It surely is good, you should definitely give it a try if you are into this genre XD
One thing to consider though regarding the high ratings on this website, is that often the ratings are high initially, when the drama is a recently released one. So what usually happens, is that the high ratings are given by those who watched it on-air, so a a special bond and attachment is formed with it, leading to a high rating, and of course most definitely they've enjoyed it a lot too, since they stayed with it till the end. This then raises the expectation for the binge watchers, or the non-on-air-watchers, who ends up giving a lower rating than they probably would have if it wasn't due to their slight disappointment of the risen expectation. Hence, due to this cycle, you should consider how old a drama is and its ratings in combination to get a more 'reliable' take, as it usually takes a while for the drama to holds it true bearing amid this cycle. And the real gems are the ones who stand tall in the test of time per se heheh Sorry for the long reply, just thought it was an interesting take.
Out of the many good things of this drama, one is definitely the acting of the main leads. There are many scenes that were elevated so much due to their acting skills which could have fallen flat, or maybe wouldn't have been able to fully touch our heart if it wasn't for their wonderful performances. For example some of the crying scenes, what an execution!
Loved it! Good thing I was able to binge, and didnt have to wait. The male lead's character is so radiant, can't help but smile and all their scenes are so sweeeet!
Enjoyed it a lot :D A good-old' friends to lovers' trope but done so well. Some of the character's arc were very well written, in fact the setting/world of the drama was very engaging, that kept the attention for a longer time than dramas of this genre these days do.
I'm sorry but is Mino's name pronounced as "MEENO" or "MAINO"Because Seunggi pronounces it as MAINO and I've always…
I think u can pronounce it either way. Because as u said, his name is Song MinHo, while his stage name is MINO. So the 'English' pronunciation of 'MINO' would be 'MAINO' I guess, while some pronounce it as 'MEENO' due to his original name's way of pronouncing it.
In fact, in earlier interviews he himself used to say it both ways, It's only over the years that he settled for 'MAINO' heheh
