I keep on thinking about this love-and-hate relationship of mine with the writers, about how the gave HJP such a good backstory and for what? To reinforce the sls? To break our heart even more?! Why present him like a ML, and even the actor who plays the ML's younger versions!? This was a pre-planned trap and we still fell for it, hopefully my poor heart will survive through it all heheh

omg yes! I agree with your examples!! Both those characters, and HJP here created their own little space in the overall drama, giving an unique and interesting angle to the story! Love them or not, you can't deny their impact XD

same! usually I watch finished dramas, so I can make sure the ending is a happy one, and even if there is sls, how 'severe' it is heheh but as I've recently started to watch on airs too, I can't do that, so while before I used to laugh at those suffering a sls, as I wasn't one of them, here I am crying along with them heheh

hahaha while I fast-forwarded it a little bit heheh though it was a good one I guess, didn't expect it to be like that, also a part of my heart just wouldn't let me enjoy it either heheh

Ok now this 'second lead syndrome' of mine is ruining my personal experience of this drama-watching honestly and I'm frustrated with myself! Like I want to whole heartedly enjoy the sweet moments between the ML and the FL, and that kiss?!?! First of all it got me off guard too heheh and I couldn't even enjoy that properly, because my heart is just stuck to the SML since day one...ughh why am I even doing this to myself!? Anyways Nam Do San's character is impressing me more and more, and his idea was so touching!! I really didn't see that coming, it was so thoughtful! But again can't seem to move on from the 2nd lead, and how she chose the pen-pal at the end!!?? Though that made me happy for a moment I knew it wasn't it, and exactly after that she said how those unfamiliar bits of Nam Do San makes her heart flutter, so I'm happy for her and it really shows how she's falling for him for real I guess, but at the same time, I'm still sad for Ji Pyung. Anyways, still curious to see how the lies will unfold ;)

I'm so excited to see Kim Soo Hyun play this role, I'm sure he'll create wonders!! XD

Oh no that's too sad! I won't be able to handle that!! That's y, tho I don't like spoilers, I still make sure to spoil myself of the ending even in a romcom hahaha

Hahah why tho? Don't they have good endings? Because usually I watch the youth c-drama mosty so not sure...

Yes that's what I think too, also not because I want him to end up with anyone or not, because that's a different point. I also believe that at some point, it was just him and it did comfort him somehow too, whether he wants to admit it or not, just like that scene when he sits down next to the bird box to read her letter and a smile is shown on his face, of course one can interpret that different way...also if we notice, though the first time the grandma was with him while writing the letters, later he was writing them on his own, even if it was like a 'task' to him. Now how many 'lies'he included in them we don't know, but it can't be all a lie right? Some things are clearly true, like his birth date, so he did indeed share at least a part of him with her through those letters...Anyways we just have to wait and see how it goes from here XD

Yep JHP+Grandma and NDS+friends, could have a spinoff of their own actually hahah, also the bromance between JHP and NDS is just amazing!

Exactly!! One can only hope, and that one is definitely me! Heheh if they really do that twist at the end I'll be the happiest person ever!! Of course it is a rare thing, but not really impossible right ... and I'm loving whatever few scenes they are having together these past few episodes, just loving it!

Really!?! ughh I was so happy when he decided to get it over with, even happier that it was happening in front of the grandma, as she would be able to give more details of all these lies, but nah! ughh I feel so frustrated
