I think he has always been this thin. His build in thin especially his face.
It is true that he has been rather thin for awhile, but he was even thinner here in this drama. I saw a short clip of his shortly after he debuted and it took me a minute to recognize him. He was more filled out in the face (& maybe body?) and he looked really good!
I read that originally this drama was supposed to have 58 episodes, but that they cut it down to 40!😩 They apparently lengthened the episodes, but still cut out important parts or scenes. If this is true, it is so sad and disappointing. 🥺 I hope there won't be choppy editing as well. 😓
I like Zheng Yecheng, but he just doesn't look right for the part, to me. I think a dragon should have sharper, 3 dimensional features. I am a little disappointed. ..It could be worse though...🥺

As for this drama and his character; he is supposed to be very thin and sickly.👍
I also really wish the female lead was NOT Yang Chaoyue. She really should have smaller, side roles for awhile. (Sorry to her fans).
