Why do so many Chinese dramas have to have the female lead doing business? Sometimes that is pretty boring... I understand that occasionally her doing a bit of business can enhance a story, (and possibly the character as well), but I would much rather it not be emphasized very much in most or many dramas, especially in costume dramas. Modern dramas in particular, often have a lot of the business talks and showing things, (as if the Chinese Communist government is trying to prove a point,) and it can be obvious or drag on etc..๐ช The very least in modern dramas, they should give the girl a different kind of job, and not only in an office... Anyway, there are more interesting things or aspects that could or should be the main focus in more dramas, in my opinion. Okay. I will stop my rant.
Yes! If it is true I will be excited too.๐ฅฐ I recently saw that Wang Xingyue may be the male lead instead. I really like Wang Xingyue as well, but I admit, I was expecting He Yu.๐ช Both actors would be great though!๐
I hope they give the proper screentime to the main characters especially the main leads because I'm so tired of…
Yes!! Usually the side couples and characters get too much screen time! It can get old and boring... Of course, sometimes I prefer a side actor or actress over the main, but in general, you are right. I am happy to see Xu Zhenyuan though! But he will probably be a villain.
No, heโs going to feel hurt after her supposed betrayal but toxic and abusive, not that weโve seen.
Well I would say threatening someone with a gun to their head and a hand around their throat, as well as sexual harassment and threatening in general, are toxic and abusive...๐
Whose makeup? I think Ai Mi looks good with brighter or darker and heavier makeup here..
Hou Minghao asked them to take off some of the makeup during the battle scenes because he looked to clean, so they probably added blood etc.. But he did his own stunts there and some of the dirt etc was real! Haha. Is that what you were referring to?
Does anyone know what the drama will be called in English?
