What are you talking about. Zhang Linghe (the male lead of Pursuit of Jade) just had to apologize for saying something that was more racist or stereotyping negatively about South East Asians. China, especially the Communist government is rather racist in general (maybe not everyone individually). They put Uyghurs in concentration camps and chemically castrated them, put up signs at McDonald's that they won't serve black people and will have Black people taken off from the front of posters for movies and more.
