Actually it was a problem then as well. She was too young paired romantically with a much other grown man. She was in her mid teens! I am excited for this drama, but I wish they had waited a few more years or used the original cast.

I 2nd the suggestion of the main female lead (Chu Qiao) with Yan Xun, the 2nd male lead! This pairing switches between being my # 2nd favorite, to # 1 couple pairing!π π
Also, the main leads couple pairing of Chu Qiao with Zhuge Yue.π€
I think I am probably in for heartache with both these couple pairings..π₯Ίπ
My 3rd pairing suggestion is the two male leads: Zuge Yue and Yan Xun! They knew each other before, they both have feelings for the same girl, and are militarily/strategically involved in politics. So I imagine there is going to be a lot of tension and maneuvering. I am interested in seeing their dynamic as well!π π€ͺ
And the 4th pairing, maybe of the female lead (Chu Qiao) with the Li Ce!
First and foremost I am here for Li Yitong! Haha. She is one of the best actresses in skills and range (particularly in serious and suffering scenes) and is seriously one of the very top most beautiful actresses!π₯°
I am also very excited for this director!!π€
Even though I am not a fan of Chen Xingxu, I was surprised at how good the styling was for him is and makes him look more attractive. I think both leads will do well and will probably have good chemistry!
Yes, she was.π I would prefer her to gain a little weight, but I saw this picture of her and I like this styling in the historical costume. I don't know much about her character other than she was supposed to be a general's daughter and possibly from the future? I think she would do a great job, depending on the character's description and personality. Is the character supposed to be really reserved and elegant or...? Wang Yinglu does have pretty good range and acting skills and likability in her favor.π
Wang Yinglu might be good for the female lead as well, if she gained a little weight. π€ It would be fun to see her with Hou Minghao in the same drama again, but as a couple this time!π
