Yes. I heard that they are old, funeral style clothes. I too, at first thought that he looked funny in a couple of the pictures, but a few of the others look better, and you can see that his eyes are rimmed with red from crying. I also heard that it was absolutely Freezing during filming this.

That is a large part of the problem with them cutting down so many episodes. That is why I am asking if they cut out many of the original number of episodes for this show.😊 If 40 was the original number for this drama, then that is good news.
Were a lot of the original number of episodes cut? I haven't seen this yet, but I have noticed several dramas are losing lots of episodes and often the end result, makes the drama choppy, rushed, and disjointed, and sometimes the character development gets affected as well.
I know that it is probably inaccurate, but there was a recent melon saying that the leads may be: Shen Yue and Zhang Ling He. If this drama is actually ever filmed, it will most likely be a different cast though..
