I agree that he has handled most things or the situations really well. I too would be filled with guilt, and I think he is in some ways. That cop and especially his MOTHER should not be putting all the blame on him. Yes, she may be a little resentful, but you would think that she would be extra clingy and protective of HIM and appreciative of her child that she has.

Really, it is not right. Dating step siblings is still incest. It disturbs me. I would have liked this movie if they had NOT made them related through marriage/law or by blood. They could have changed that big part of the plot.😳😬
