I have a habit of studying some people's facial features and voices, so I notice more of the differences. Li Yitong has her strengths too. She is especially realistic in emotionally charged or being abused acting scenes. I actually prefer her more serious type of acting, but she is good either way. Anyway, they are both very talented...
It does often happen in these kind of dramas. It is intentional, to distort people's perception against what is good and truly desirable. Not to be confused with being pompous, which is obviously negative..

Because Bai Lu is not a professional voice actress (as far as I know). The companies will either have the actor dub themselves or hire a professional. Since Bai Lu has nothing to do with this drama, it is highly unlikely. Plus this sounds like Li Yitong to me. Maybe I am just more familiar with her voice?🤷♀️ Anyway, I hope you are enjoying the drama.😊
