She would rather believe the words of her mom who wasn't even fully conscious and assume he killed her mom while he was the one who risked everything to get her mom the doctor for the surgery even when he wasn't obligated to 😭😭
I have some questions which I tried getting answers to from other online forums, but 😭it was a disaster; regardless…
1. When Xueting is arrested for being a spy, Pingjun voluntarily makes a deal with Changxuan ryt to become his companion. No one forced her, right? Then why does she keep acting like she was forced and locked up against her will... tried to end her life, all the while Changxuan kept his part of the deal of freeing that idiot. He even kept her mother safe. In the end, Changxuan got nothing from the deal except trauma ig. But the drama keeps establishing her as the ultimate victim. BTW, the way she smiled at Changxuan after he tried to end her life was not really innocent; she knew exactly how much he loved her. (my opinion)
2. CX pretty much made it clear how much he loved her (low-key obsessed), so what was the point of constantly being involved with him when she got in trouble? Constantly thanking him when he made it clear to stay away. I felt she just wanted to use him and just hate him after.
3. Why does her moral compass work only for CX? She was okay with offering herself to CX as long as her traitor fiancé was safe... When she agreed to become his companion, what was the point of constantly provoking him sarcastically and with that wretched ring? Did she not realise that if not for CX, XT would anyway be dead, let alone implicating her mom and herself too?
Is it that she has no brain, or are these just calculated moves....despite what the novel and drama try to show her as a pure, innocent girl, her actions don't add up at all...
