I just watched both episodes and honestly don’t know what to feel. I went through a rollercoaster of emotions. I don’t justify FX’s actions, but I can see that he has changed as a person. He’s trying to be better, but that doesn’t mean his past actions were okay, and it also doesn’t mean that YSL should forgive him.
At the same time, I can understand that it’s not easy for YSL to let go, or that he often thinks about him, considering everything that happened between them. He truly loved him and gave him everything, and FX destroyed him and used him.
This is an amazing series, and it’s so unique because it portrays relationships in a very realistic way—relationships that can actually happen in real life. It shows that not everything is green and perfect; there is manipulation, gaslighting, and a lot of messed-up dynamics in relationships. And that may be why this is becoming one of my favorite bl of 2025.
I don' care if the story is not going anywhere and if it doesn't make sense. I love the main leads and they're chemistry. They are soooo cute together and i'm only watching for them now 🫶🏼
The cdrama is good, but I think it was just not the right time for me watch it. I´m currently on ep 26 and I find it hard to finish it, but I really want to finish it. I think the stories pace was a little slow to my likings.
To people like you the author actually said that if you want bad ending then stop reading after Ch 84 and make…
I’ll concede the wording was harsh — wasn’t trying to personally insult the author, just reacting to a storyline that, in my opinion, doesn’t support a happy ending. Respecting an author’s right to write something and disagreeing with the result can coexist. Otherwise, discussion sections wouldn’t exist.

@CBL Enthusiast Can I ask what you personally define as a “happy ending” in this case? Because that’s subjective.
The author and I don’t have to mean the same thing by “happy,” and neither do different viewers. For me, a happy ending doesn’t automatically mean the leads end up together.
Discussing what would or wouldn’t feel satisfying isn’t me “injecting myself” into the character — it’s just interpreting the story as a viewer, which is kind of the point of discussions.

No one is trying to “control” the author. You can respect the author’s choices and still discuss or criticize the ending — those things aren’t mutually exclusive. Discussing or disliking an ending isn’t the same as trying to dictate how the story should’ve gone. People are allowed to react to a work, even if it’s the author’s story. Criticism ≠ control. The author can write whatever she wants, and readers are still allowed to think the ending was bad without wanting to “take over” the story. Like… am I not allowed to have my own opinion now or what?
I think the best solution is that they never met and then none of this would have happen. I think the biggest punishment both have is each other. Everyone could easily see that FX is toxic and he is draining the life out of YSL. I hope FX doesn´t get any redemption at this point and that he dies and leave YSL alone. If there is a happy ending with them ending up together, then I would think that the writer has lost it´s mind, bc who the hell can live with that? Everything FX did and lied about, poor YSL.
OH MY GOD ep 9 and 10 just made my head spin around. I completely lost all hope for the couple after everything Fan Xiao did. All this obsession of his with controlling Shu lang, gaslighting him, hurting him, manipulating him just makes me crazy. How can a person be this cruel to a person who never did anything but love him? It just doesn't make sense for me. At this point I just hope Fan Xiao rots in hell or in jail and just leaves Shu Lang alone, bc that man is hurting. He deserves some peace and a happy life after everything Xue Bao Tian and Fan Xiao has put him true.
ep 5 made my heart flutter and they're chemistry has gotten so much better. I just feel like they aren't faking it with the falling in love part anymore, this time it feels genuine and real, especially the emotions and feelings they are carrying and portraying through the characters. Also I just don't understand why there is so many negative comments about this bl and the kiss, if you don't like it, JUST DON'T WATCH IT THEN. There is no need to comment negative things and ruin the drama for others. I simply believe that this is a good bl with comedy and romance, and probably one of my fav bl from 2025
I am currently watching this and I just finished ep 2, but I still find this kdrama boring. Is it a slowburn and does it get better? Bc I’m wondering if I should drop this, I really wanted to try bc of the main characters.
