First I was the same the story was what confusing because the main girl was too shy and all but you have to watch it to the end because she will change. I don't want to reveal to much
but if you watch it to the end I think you will love it too.

I also realy liked this drama Zhao Li Ying is my favorite actress. I realy like her in this drama
only the ending was a little dissapointing first I thought it was maybe historical that's why the ending was so but I checked on wiki but can't find her.
But I realy loved her in Boss & Me . That drama is just so cute and funny .

I agree bad ending of the substory but it's was expectable because the title is " City of desparate love" I'm more of stories with good ending like fairytales.
So if you want watch an good drama you have to watch "Boss & Me" .
This is maybe an cliche cinderella story but it's so funny and cute. for sure not flipping table drama . I rewatch it every time when I get flipping table moments of such drama's after watching just one episode and my mood is bright and shining again.

If you realy want to watch an good romantic drama with Zhao li Ying (the female lead) you have to see "Boss and Me" this is so cute and funny from start to end

I totally agree with the cancer part. Sometimes they just drag it too long like Love Family.
without The last sick part the drama would be a lot better. Because the last part the main lead was just too much. But best romantic drama ever "Boss & Me" maybe cliché but realy funny

I'm little dissapointed with the story.
If you want watch wuxia then is the condor hero's the most famous.
What I also realy like is the Bratty Princess, with a lot of funny moments.
What also like is "The legend of Hua Mu Lan" (totally different from the disney cartoon)
and if you want to see modern Chinese drama with the same female lead
You have to see "Boss and Me" (Shan shan comes to eat) is simple light realistic cute and funny. a MUST SEE !!

It's boring and the story makes no cense at all. Only when Chen Joe solves the problem its ok but the rest is boring it was a struggle to watch it to the end

I've watched 8 episodes but it's Boring, childish & stupid. I'm only watching it because my idol female lead. But her character is nothing in comparison in Boss &Me. or LuZhen.

I also loved this drama and watched the whole drama with an big smile.Shan Shan's smile is just too adorable. If you see her smile you want to smile too. I've watched this drama already 7 times in an half year. If I get depressed or stressed because of an drama I watch this again to refresh and to calm down.

Hello if you want to see an light drama you have to see Boss and Me ( shan shan comes to eat). This is an very fun drama to watch. I've saw this dram already multiple times and still my favorite drama.
