Is it a comedy like what the trailer portrays?

Once I saw in a review that it isn't faithful to the books and the poster pictured above doesn't convey the tone of the source material, I knew it wouldn't be worth my time.

Anyway, yes, I do agree that this is overrated (much like a lot of user rated dramas on this site).
The FL in particular isn't a natural and amateurish, but I don't know if its the writing, directing or just the actor.
Have yet to see The Long Night.

I'd have to do some more investigating into the original novel, as I'm interested the writers feel the need to keep recycling the plot by having 'alternate worlds' instead of just continuing where the last series finished ...

A mature tag should be added, btw! There's some steamy (if brief) love scenes.
