Well then give me examples of ACTUALLY messed up Female characters and I would watch that drama.
(P.s I hate doormat personalities in both Male and female characters.)

Did I say its a good example of complex character? But its certainly better than alot of Male leads that choke the FL or threatens to kill her or did way worse than the characters have done here.

Everyone loved Tantai Jin from TTEOM or Xiang Lu from LYF even though they treated FL even badly.

And any example of dramas where people don't like flawed female characters when its done right?? Most of the people here loved Fu Ling even after she did much worse. They also loved Princess Yang Yang from AJTY even though she was really weak and annoying in the start because she showed character development.

From what I have observed, people only hate female characters when she has a doormat personality or she acts stupid in the entire drama.

Any recommendations for more jdramas like this where the Female lead doesn't have a doormat personality or doesn't need the ML to save her in every problem?

I sometimes think Cdrama watchers want the characters to have a 1D personalities. They like "bad boy" type of ML when its done something like in twilight, but just when its a little more realistic, they hate it

How are they allowing their mom to emotionally abuse their adopted sister lol? Did you even watch it before commenting?

You don't like ANY character?? I think this show has alot of different types of characters, so it doesn't make sense you don't like any. Which type of characters you usually prefer?

I LOVE character development, that's why I asked if she gets better. In alot of Cdramas, the FL is annoying from start to end, so just wanted to make sure.

The difference is she trusted the SML, so her trust was broken. On the other hand, she just got to know the ML and didn't trust him much, so him lying didn't hurt much.

If the ML lies to her AFTER they fall in love, I think she would be angry then too.

I have watched till Ep 6, and I find the female lead character a bit annoying and childish. Does she get any better in upcoming episodes?

I dropped the drama at ep 20 because I thought the editing and storyline was getting choppy. Does it get any better after it? Be Unbiased and tell me whether I should watch the remaining 12 eps.
