I think for me why I connect so much to this drama, even though I am two episodes in is because I deal with depression and anxiety, and as someone who deals with it on a daily basis and has good days and bad days, I can say that so far I am really enjoying this drama, and have cried so much already. I love Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik, and cannot wait to see more of them throughout this drama
From the beginning, I was a little apprehensive about the show. To be honest, I read the synopsis and was thinking this show was not going to be for me. But boy was I wrong. From the first episode I was hooked, and I changed my mind completely about what how the rest of the show was going to be for me. This show was every aspect of what a k-drama watcher loves it’s got comedy, romance, it’s heart wrenching at time, and has those good old happy feelings that one just loves to gush over.
One of the best aspects of the show was the characters. Each character had its purpose and each actor/actress played their character exceptionally well. The writing was good as well, which sometimes can be a hit or a miss in some dramas.
The only way thing that I could say I didn’t enjoy as much was the ost. I couldn’t really get into as much as do in other dramas. As well, I felt the pace was okay for 16 episodes. I just felt that at times the plot got a bit repetitive, especially from episodes 11-13, but thankfully in episode 14, things picked up again.
Therefore, I give From Now On, Showtime a 8.5/10. I would say if you are looking for a drama that hits romance, comedy, and fantasy really well, I would recommend this drama. I also have to say if you are looking for a drama with amazing supporting and amazing main characters, I would also go ahead and recommend this drama as well.
