This show is not meant for understanding things on a deeper level. And by that, I really enjoyed watching it. Just don't think too much and just watch the show as it is.
I really enjoyed Nam Joo Hyuk's acting here after Weightlifting Fairy unlike those other show he portrayed in. And Joo Yoo Mi is beautiful even though she acts as she were crazy.
ehh? i haven't watched Start-Up but i am surprised by how negatively you are describing the show. i wanna watch…
It's still up to you if you're willing to watch it. Just lower the expectations I guess. Or it will be really frustrating later on. The first few episodes are truly about business, but by episode 7 or 8, that's when it starts to dwindle down. I also love Bae Suzy, I'm just disappointed how the writer made her character through the show.
Same as you, I hope I will see more of Miles Wei's works as the first Male Lead in the future. Not as a SML or…
I look forward to it too! I agree that the actress is very cute also. I guess we'll be seeing him next year though. Thank you very much for the clip! It's such a treat :D
I dislike their relationship. She flat out rejected Chul San multiple times and magically developed feelings for…
I actually wanted to see Do Dan and Sa Ha. Every time they're in the same room, they are just funny to see. And will likely think that they could actually like each other. Do San hates Sa Ha's guts, while Sa Ha thinks he is kind of attractive when he talks big brain, while also thinking that he's disgusting. Adorable. Just probably not going to happen.
I am 100% sure that the same will happen with True beauty jajaja
As much as I think it will absolutely happen to most of the viewers, I will still stan Cha Eunwoo, not because he's the main lead or whatnot, it's because I think he would have a great chemistry with Moon Ga Young, they kind of look-alike, face-wise, and because they were actual friends. Compared to the second lead whom they just met during filming. So, sorry. I don't think I'll have that SLS.
I think the reason why, I especially, think Kim Seon Ho as Han Ji Pyeong, and Bae Suzy as Seo Dal Mi are adorable to end up with each other is because they kind of look-alike, face-wise. Like two cute puppies. Compared to Nam Joo Hyuk, who is a bit skinnier to look at than Bae Suzy. NJH, even though I know he is muscular underneath, kind of look like a fox. And most of the time behind the scenes, KSH and BS laugh at the same things and probably bond friendship.
I usually hear, and read that people are attracted to people who kind of looks like them, and will likely have the most strongest chemistry. And will be even comfortable with each other because they kind of see themselves on one other. Just look at It's Okay Not to Be Okay. The dynamic of Kim Soo Hyun and So Ye Ji. They are addicting and beautiful to look at. My eyes are blessed. The next drama I'll be looking forward is Snowdrop. Because again, face-wise, Jisoo and Jung Hae In kind of look alike. And I'll be again, blessed with these beautiful creatures.
People discovering Kim Seon Ho though this drama are so cute! Meanwhile I was already a huge fan and I have watched…
The first time I saw him was in Strongest Delivery Man, but have not watched it further because the main couple was kind of bland. I just wished someone would just have a cut scenes of just him and his girl and I would watch it. Saw glimpse of him in The Good Manager / Chief Kim, as well as 100 Days My Prince, which is also not my type of dramas. But finally watched Waikiki 2 and fell in love with him instantly! Since then, I watched Catch the Ghost after. Amazing actor. Love his expressions and the way he shows his emotions.
ehh? i haven't watched Start-Up but i am surprised by how negatively you are describing the show. i wanna watch…
If your a fan of Nam Joo Hyuk who is the male lead, you can probably turn a blind eye to all the mess in this show. It started out really great, even tear jerking. Its funny in a lot ways. But as soon as the love triangle enters the picture, the whole story fell through the hole. In terms of business plot, it's almost none existent when they focus on their drama. I think a lot of people who watched the show who cares about it story wise fell for the second lead. But it's still up to you whether you want to watch it or not. I'm just waiting for it to finish and see it straight in the ending to save myself from further torture. Good luck :D
The most horribly written drama for me is Abyss and Start-Up. Abyss, because the main lead is so stupid that he dies multiple times, and has the inconsistent rules for the abyss. I don't even know how I finished that drama. Only Park Bo Young and Ahn Hyo Seop baited me to watch this stupidity. Start-Up, because of the stupidity of all the characters that won't focus on the actual business. The only one who is not that stupid was Kim Seon Ho's character Han Ji Pyeong, which they treated so badly just because the writers and directors are such sadistic people. I needed therapy for this idiocy.
There are a lot on this list that I haven't watched yet, and probably won't. But some in the list are not what I call horribly written. For me, I think More Than Friends and Meow the Secret Boy, which I have watched, are an okay, and quite enjoyable dramas, yet probably not everyone's cup of tea.
For some top rated dramas, such as Goblin, My Love From the Stars, It's Okay Not to Be Okay, Cheese in the Trap, The Legend of the Blue Sea, Hotel Del Luna, Crash Landing On You, The King Eternal Monarch, and such, are very enjoyable dramas based on the fanbase. It's just that we all have different opinions of what the ending should have been. But they are not horribly-written. In fact, that's why they are so popular, because we enjoy the casts, story, and such.
I just finished this beautiful drama in just three days! There hasn't been any boring scenes for me, except sometimes the side characters, but all is well because it's a well thought out series with no alternative super cliche drama like others. But what mostly engaged me to watch this drama is because of the lead actors. They are amazing at potraying their characters and not overacting. The lead actress is cute, and even though she was naive at first, she eventually grown up and had somewhat a character development. Which I really love. But I mostly and absolutely love Miles Wei. I first saw him in Count On Your Lucky Stars where he was the second lead, and thought that he was very handsome. I couldn't take my eyes off him even though I shouldn't for that drama. But after watching this, it was absolutely perfect for him. And wanted to watch more of his future leading dramas. This drama made me laugh, giddy, and excited. It may not be for some others, but this is a very refreshing drama I have seen.
With Kim Eun Sook's recent failure with The King Eternal and Park Hye Run's recent failure with Start Up.I think…
For The King Eternal Monarch, I don't think the writer has the problem, it was the director (or was it two directors if i remebered correctly.) The directors made it confusing, with too many flashbacks of the last episodes and such, if they only changed the filters for two paralell universes, and made the story straight instead of cutting it by half in half, it would have been marvelous. Plot wise, I think it's okay and consistent. Parallel universe and time traveling goes hand in hand because both are science fictions. I also have already guessed that Lee Min ho saved himself in the past because of his body build. But for start up, have the most biased director and writer, with an idiotic story I have ever encountered in my life.
Slightly off the end game for Dal Mi. Please no hate or what. But ain't Stephanie Lee and Nam Joo Hyuk cute whenever they're on screen together https://images.app.goo.gl/GxR811Euu9PncZSc9
