My interpretation of the ending for me was acceptance. They were not forcing each other anymore to be together, nor are they closing the possibility. That one year later, where he does not need to go back and forth, or hounded by responsibilities, and could finally slow down. And she finally healed from the loss of her father and accepting the love and the need of help from her new family rather than handling it all on her own, gets to go back home and is about to settle down, as seen that she messaged him her finally healed pictures and he goes to her house to fix the lights and hang her name by the door. This time, they both get to settle in the same place, with no tangled bitter attachments, just like when they first met.
It's up for others to interpret, but this is how I see it.
I wish they could greenlit it and film it as soon as possible :D Not only the incomplete romance, but I am also looking forward to the uncommon cases they will cover that connects to their situations in life.
I was just a a bit confused in the end, if someone could help me with my dillema, that would be a huge help. Like, why is even her parents even alive? Not how, but why? Her aunt and uncle did adopt her, but they wanted nothing to do with her, so is she still rich growing up despite living alone or something? And so she did meet her mom, but what happened after that, I'm not sure π€. I guess she got the closure she wanted, but why did it took so long? Is she still an actress?
I really love this series and its the best korean drama opener for a brand new year for me! It kept me at the edge of my seat and all the scenery and creative direction was inexplicably beautiful, unlike all the kdramas I've been watching as of late. I was scared while watching it because of all the harsh comments below, but I was really worried about nothing. In the future I shouldn't read the comments before watching it myself, could've enjoyed it more without all the worrying.
The end is wrapped up nicely. I wonder if they will make a season 2, because I seriously can't wait for it to happen π What do you guys think the season 2 should be about or how it should play out? I'm sad that it ended and hoping for some enlightenment βΊοΈ
can you please spoil me what happened in the end? the subs for the end is not out yet and I'm curious to know what happened to kita-kun and if he actually chose someone.
The only thing i didn't like about this drama was the mother's romance. Added completely out of the blue and was…
Yes, I feel you! I was also bored out of my mind when watching the mothers romance. So I skipped it a lot, it wasn't really necessary to show a lot of screen time and somehow added nothing much to the overall story. But at least she wasn't against the leads romance in the end.
Yes! Definitely a happy ending. First of all, the mother who love her and cherish her so much, didn't cry as hard as one expect. There are two fishes in the bowl including the one that's suppose to die. Another one is that whenever they hallucinate or dream, it gets visually blurry, where the ending is very very clear and colorful.
I also watched another c-drama called Hello the Sharpshooter, and in there, the sfl was supposed to take her life like in the book due to pressure, but they changed it in the drama. So it could be the same here.
raws to episode 3!https://mega.nz/file/jdF1zQpS#pV785rYhyTq-lFm3HEdy_52d2GOO03kg044WtrJEILM
β€οΈ Thank you so much! Japanese dramas with subtitles is always so hard to find compared to Korean ones. So I'm very thankful that there are lovely people like you guys who takes time to translate it. Iβm most grateful. Waiting for translations :D
