ZXW cannot protect HQ from his mother. That's why she ended up in the house she is in right now ( I am happy about this for her lol). Imagine living with her as mother-in-law eek, I would sleep with one eye open.
It's fine for her to go have a peaceful life I really don't see what the problem is.
They would both be unhappy if she had to sacrifice her freedom for him or if he would have to sacrifice his role for her.
I think the lesson is to ZXW he understood when his mother said "I did this for your own good"
This is just a dream anyway so we will see what will happen in the real world.

Eldest Princess was talking about getting more women so I think he would have no choice. Eldest Princess already does not want her to take that role so it was not going to work.
I am not worried about happy ending as this is the dream state. So we need her to wake up so we know what is happening in real life.

Yeah that's exactly what I thought, I think they still take this path even though he is Lord. That's why Eldest Princess is against them together because ZXW has bigger things to do than love.

The thing is with ZWX's position he cannot love just one person like that, that's the conversation in 28 with Eldest Princess. It would make other women jealous and cause problems, ZXW was brought up specifically to continue the Zhong family's duties and so that comes first before love. So HQ understood this well.

Someone explained before that in the novel ZXW is an Emperor, so he would have had a lot of concubines. This part probably didn't get laid out well in the drama since he is a Lord. There are women living at Zhong Garden, I think it's left to us to interrupt they will marry ZXW at some point and Eldest Princess was going to get more. Episode 28 touches on this when Eldest Princess has a conversation with HQ

True we don't need anymore in this dreamworld. I thought the beginning of episode 28 would have been a nice end to that world. I liked how Eldest Princess gave HQ the life she wanted.

I think she did have feelings for ZXW she kept that medicine bottle for a while and she asked if he would give up everything for her. She didn't want the life of being married to the Zhong head and Eldest Princess didn't want her too, to take that role. They were just not meant to be in that world.

Oh good glad he finally let her go. Something up with the Zhong men. Always wanting to keep hold of her yet she tells them to let her go. When you love someone you should let them go.
Now ready for her to wake up so we can see what the real world is like.

I understand its a dream, my comments are to those who are getting upset with her for the dream lol. They are upset she is not choosing to be with ZXW in the dream..But we have to view this part of the drama in the context of the dream and what she has gone through as second chance to save her family since she saw them die, and also the power of Eldest Princess and her not wanting her to be with him.

I wonder if ML already knew FL and she sort of forgot him or something, he seems to have had feelings for her already.

You are still missing the point. She should be allowed to have choice to be or not to be with him. It doesn’t matter what he has done, it’s still her choice.
She has experienced death of not 1 but 3 members of her family, which would be surprising for me honestly if she just easily ran into a man’s arms. Self preservation and her family is what is important. Nothing wrong with a girl wanting a peaceful life. Not to mention the biggest obstacle Eldest Princess.

Her decision still makes sense to me to be honest. Eldest Princess is big enough reason to reject.

I am enjoying this still really don't get why some pple are mad at the FL.

For starters, if we don't get into spoilers about dreams and all that, HQ was given a chance to go back to make different choices to save her family really, in her mind and mine lol...
Love is what got the family in trouble in the first place, she loved ZYL so much she got her father to make it happen. So she went to correct that, to save her family she did not go back for love.

Now ZXW's love got her in a mess in this second life. The Mengs wanted her life because of it, then she lost her brother because of it. I also wouldn't want Eldest Princess as an enemy. Why should she accept ZXW love to go into that drama, he couldn't protect her.

No matter what a guy/woman does for you it doesn't mean you have to pay them back by loving them. I wonder if some viewers would think differently if ML wasn't eye candy.

I have decided lol.. The only person I am truly routing for is HQ .

HQ has paid a lot, she deserves to be happy, She has experienced the death of all her family, was tossed out by the guy she loved at that time, lived in exile that's why she can can swim and cook lol.... all those things were very real to her! Saw her brother die again to save her.

Not thought of it before, but now on reflection he isn’t a bad catch 😂. He was starting to genuinely fall for her. He is stable unlike HRZ and doesn’t come with the drama of living at Zhong Garden.
Only thing you can’t deny the tension between HQ and ZXW

Loved how Eldest Princess handled MYF. Inviting her to help choose more girls hahahaha....

ZXW probably has evidence. It’s more about their position. HQ does not have evidence but ZXW would.

Not to mention ZXW did all this to only have HQ stay by his side. It wasn’t for righteous reasons. I am not saying one person is better than the other, just let’s be honest about people’s intentions. I understand all characters on here have flaws.
