I've been dreaming for this type of Korean drama. My favorite type of female lead went from Ku Mun Young to Lee Seul Bi. It's exciting and fun watching Seul Bi's reaction to new things. Our leads make a cute couple for sure. I'm excited with how the story is going.

I saw a clip at the end of the twitter thread from 1987 and I legit started crying. Something about that clip felt painful to watch. Specially after learning about Park Jong-Cheol.

Imagine how painful it is for the people who actually experienced it firsthand😞

Yeah, I’m still watching the drama that’s airing right now. There’s even a film project coming out!

I just like seeing her on screen, is it bad if I wish she was a leading role in every drama she gets? I think she had her fair share of being an extra and supporting role.

But right now I’m glad she didn’t get the FL role since the storyline is problematic.

Oh, she killed it for sure. she definitely stood out and it’s only the first episode.

1 sec her character made me fangirl another sec I’m hiding my face because of second hand embarrassing because of her.

Although I’m always Hyeyoon deprived, I can only avoid supporting this drama.

I totally agree with you. I too thought about the consequences if she refused. My girl has too much potential to be a supporting role.

Right now, I’m hoping in 2022, she’ll choose a better project. And I’m wishing that project would be in Goong remake with Dohyun :’)

Honestly, I was extremely (and BLINDLy) excited for this series as soon as it was announced. The reason is because Hyeyoon got casted.

Then I was disappointed she’s not the lead.

BUT after reading this (https://mobile.twitter.com/gatamchun/status/1471205914174967808) twitter thread, I kinda wish she never took this project. I realized how problematic it is only today. As much as I want to support Hyeyoon, I’ll most likely not watch this.

P.S. I think some are confused. It’s problematic because it’s distorting history. In the twitter thread, @kari_tweet094 explained, “I think the biggest thing is that they’re supporting gov’s false propaganda that spies existed (the ML) & the NSA had a reason to exist. The OP of this thread cannot emphasize enough that spies DID NOT EXIST & and there was no real justification for the killing & torture they did.”

I did a lot of research early and these were the rumors I came across. That MV favors J9 more then the other couples. And that B and P exposed their company in some live? I guess exposing them about not having money and not paying or giving their actors jobs as often as they should. About J9 not getting along with the other couples, I really don't know, I just know that E B P are really close friends. Anyways, if that's all true, I'm too happy that E left, and I hope he gets job opportunities soon :((

Are the favoritism rumors about J9 confirmed and did B and P really expose their company and how they don't get along with J9? and is it true that E was nearly assaulted by Toei? And the company isn't paying their actors?
