It gets better actually. I find the fight scenes at the inn in first episode a little underwhelming but the following episodes got better.

Yah agree Miyu acts like a doormat on many occasions. But I wonder if the director/scriptwriter was trying to contrast her with the more career focused mistress (the one who married her husband) who would resort to any means to achieve her goals Maybe the director/script want to show that Miyu can be successful and still be kind without losing her true self.

I’m on episode 15 and enjoying it so far. However, I’m not watching it as a romance, so I wasn’t waiting for a relationship to develop between the ml and fl. I can see how it might be frustrating for viewers who are watching it in that context. I view this drama more as a story about the fl's growth—from being a housewife to navigating the working world. It probably shouldn’t have been marketed as a romance. This drama is too ambitious and tries to cram too many angles (romance, relationship, office politics etc) into the story, making it a mediocre show . However, I am still watching because I’ve become invested to know if the FL will become a stronger person. It’s also interesting to see how the ML and FL navigate the challenges of their day to day work crises and politics. They should have just bill this show as a woman's personal journey or something like that.

Depends if you watch for the story, the romance, action , FL or ML...The story moves pretty fast. If you like FL , she's got alot of screen time. I like Li YinRui so a little disappointed that he's only in 20% of the show so far and I am up to episode 12. Apologies that I didn't give a Yes or No recommendation

Glad I didn't check the rating before watching . and only came to MDL page after watching several episodes. Am enjoying the show so far. Just wish FL has more emotional expressions especially during the brief scenes with LYR but she's only 18 so she's doing OK in the show.

The Kid King is ML's nephew. Kid King's father is ML's brother, ML brother died so the title is passed to his son, ML's nephew
