I think because Douban looks more into the story, development, directing, acting, etc while MDL are flooded with fan girls and fan boys. I wouldn’t pay mind to people discouraging you from speaking your mind though. This is a discussion board after all. :)

The leads are gorgeous, the pace is good, cinematography is beautiful and the story - interesting.

I haven’t! The plot didn’t piqued my interest and the actor + actress are not my favorite. Thanks for the heads up, I’ll steer clear.

I have no problem with the actors, it’s not like I know them personally. I do however have a problem with people labeling others as antis just because they didn’t like a drama though.

This is a MDL page - it’s public. There’s a discussion board. It’s not strictly a praising board. People have different taste and opinions. It’s really as simple as that. There’s no motives and I don’t hate an actor or an actress enough to trash on their dramas if was good.

That being said - out of all the dramas I’ve watched this year, this was one of the worst.

I hope he gets a good script and is paired up with someone he has chemistry with soon.

I agree with you. 30+ awkward, cringy, nonsensical episodes are forgiven because of a few hot moments. I have no words and I want my time back.

There’s only 6 more episodes left.. even if they do a 180 and it’s outstanding, I can not forgive them for the other 30 episodes.

I’m shocked because for the first time I actually agree with AvenueX.

I keep on thinking to myself this drama might get better but no, it keeps getting worst and worst. Is this a joke? It’s like suddenly Bailu and Dylan are noobs in their first drama. Dylan looks like a little boy looking hard and Bailu tries to act cute but it’s just cringy. She can’t be playing these roles anymore. What a mess. The story is a mess, there no chemistry, the FL has no common sense, her best friend makes no sense and at this point the FL and ML should just forget about each other. Oh, and show keep reminding us how she’s focused on her career but I’ve never seen someone as unprofessional as her.
