I don't know why I thought this was a drama special before lol, I'm glad I get to see Kim Tae Hoon for a longer period of time though <3 Hope he will be romancing Yoo In Young in this drama, I want to see them as a couple ^^ And a good couple not like most of YIY's characters lol
Not much to the story other than Min's gradual downfall b/c of wrong choices and wrong friends. I enjoyed seeing Jung Woo Sung's baby face lol (he was so young here), his friendships and love are basically what take him down the wrong path. He was a decent friend to his friends but the problem was that he always "cleaned up" their messes. One friend trying to drag him down the wrong path, and one simply making a mistake but ultimately choosing the right path, unlike Min who realized all this much too late. Also a scene in this that I did not like (skipped over). Also what was the cameraman/director thinking?! All those blurry fight scenes were nauseating along with the screamo music in the background. :/
Reason for watching: Jung Woo Sung lol - I won't ever re-watch and don't really recommend either.
Basically a love that started at the end of her life, he takes away her loneliness and she gives him a heart that is no longer empty but full. The Garden of Heaven is the name to his hospice nursing home for the terminally ill. There romance begins and ends there. Definitely an unusual romance story, but believable at the same time. And I of course just love watching Ahn Jae Wook ^^ Such a handsome lovable man <3
I was expecting something very different from what I got lol, wow, I'm still scratching my head with how crazy that woman was. Thinking I was going in for a love story (even with the thriller tag) but instead I got a twisted view of someones "love".
Loved Dong Suk though - beautiful voice!
One inappropriate scene of nudity (woman's breasts) for a long time (don't know who it was b/c I was shocked and busy trying to find my clicker to skip over it lol
Otherwise, I didn't mind watching it for at least Dong Suk and his voice ^^ Not something I'd recommend however.
Beautiful movie, I'm glad I finally watched it! ^_^ I've seen 'The Lake House' b/c of Sandra Bullock but at the time when I watched it (around the time of it's release) I was very bored of it and didn't find it interesting or fascinating as I did the original. I feel like 'Il Mare' and 'Love Letter' (1998 Hallmark film) are a better match in terms of feelings and presentation ^_^
The end is too depressing. It would make me never want to talk to someone in the future. I feel so bad for her. I was hoping for a romance like 'Love Letter' 1998 Hallmark film b/c the plot sounded a bit similar, but unfortunately it's not comparable to it at all :( The ending left me sad and disheartened.
This movie was great, not too sad (for me) I laughed a lot when I watched it. It's so funny and romantic ^_^ I loved it. Even if the ending is sad (which is a given b/c of the plot) for me it was more romantic and endearing than sad - I didn't cry, instead I felt like they were both comforted and loved in the end ^_^ *not a spoiler since it's in the plot.*
