wtf that was cringe and funny (you know mean which scene) but then they suddenly killed an important character like that?? What? And in addition, they succeed in making me emotional? That's wrong!
It was interesting to show mainly in black and white (it's rare in Thai production, I mean, for me). Now, it's indeed special, strange as the story unfolds haha Not usually your Pop pee as a woman but this, it's an old man. But is it me or I didn't get how he ended up being this kind of Ghost? And it has dark humor in it. I don't know if I liked it or no but that was something...I rated 7.5/10 It's also a pity because I usually LOVE Thai horror movies but this one, I have mixed feelings.
Nice first episode but the real deal might start at the 3rd episode, who knows? Since, the 2nd ep is also about preparation (the second team is going to cook their menu, main dish)
It's indeed a must-watch, a really beautiful and interesting movie about Traditional thai music (ranad ek) and of course the life of the Master Sorn.
I just wished they could include more historical background (maybe with some text and some dates) so I could give a 10 but I rated 8,5. I know, if there's a Thai text I would struggle to read but I would take it as it is lol Honestly , it's a bit hard to rate, it's a unique movie based on the real person that I didn't know.
It makes me want to learn more about him, about the history and Thai instrumental as well.
It's an old movie (2004) so maybe it has flaws in production but still it's a classic movie, it's even a really good movie of that period / date so it's really a pity there's no english subtitles and I would rewatch it with my parents or alone! I love the sound of ranad ek, it's soothing.
Oh and the actors are also really great. The actor who played the young adult Sorn (Oh Anuchit) is definitely one of the best among his generation.
The story, overall, was nice and fluffy! Two salarymen going out to eat some sweets, why not!! (this is why I liked it). I wanted to do the same as them, what they eat looks delicious lol The music is lovely, good to start a good sunny day!
That was...Something? I don't even know how to explain... I think it was too short to be deeply or entirely invested in the story and understanding the characters. But I got it when I read the synopsys here lol
When I was a teenager I loved it, it was my favorite movie and now I want to watch it again to know if I change my mind lol But I think it's still a classic movie
I agree with your comment! Well said (not sure if you are going to read me but whatever).I should watched the…
Nice! Maybe we are going to meet each other on the other page haha because if I'm watching the rest I will probably leave a comment. When I was replying to you I wanted to watch the Thai story but then, I ended up watching other stuff lol But today I might watchec one or two episodes. Oh, thank you for the recommendation!
Among the 3 episodes that I've watched, I like this one the most. It's gripping right from the start. Acting is…
I agree with your comment! Well said (not sure if you are going to read me but whatever). I should watched the rest, i'm intrigued now. As this one, it was really disturbing but.. I kind of like it..? I mean, as you said the acting is great and it's gripping right from the start.
The actor, Mio, looks like the actor of Light On Me (one of the main lead) and someone else.. But anyway, he's really great, I'm shooked.
Finally, I finished watching this and that was a whole rollercoaster... Messy, crazy, horrible.. I hope, people don't go through this in real life, it's really fcked up... :(
I don't know if it's the best but it got me hooked although, I was shocked by the turn of the events, it's not everyone's cup of tea for sure, for mature audience and for those who can be mentally prepared.
