yes asian incest from H-works, go cry dem oceans & provide us with boats so we don't drown... -.- all the while ya'll never complain about borderline rapist-like (only short of actually succeeding to rape) 3rd wheel male characters always creeping & obsessing over FL in almost every C/K-Drama, that somehow you're fucking fine with, but god forbid there'd be Step-siblings in love that have no fucking blood relation on any level thus not being wrong in anyway at all... (childhood friends who call/consider each other either big sis/brother & later fall in love romantically as they grow up is also a 0 issue, but simply cuz "step-sibling" label is added on relationship an armageddon erupts...)... freaks the lot of you -.-

i'd understand if you complained about actual blood related sibling (though i wouldn't care much, if the story isn't some shitshow), but ppl being so obsessed in a bad way over step siblings like they're actually fucking related & totally not complete strangers to each other from birth & then basically be like roommates but simply put under ones family is insane... like roommates boning each other all good, but put a label "step-sibling" on them despite being exactly like roommates in everything but "name" and suddenly it's all wrong & weird?! yeah nah, ya'll weird instead...

the step-sibling part i don't mind, but what i do mind is the constant abuse of time from C/K-Dramas, be it time travel of one way or another, time skips constantly going back & forth (aka flashbacks into the past & then back into the future, trying to tell 2 stories from both past & now and yet just creating chaos... or majority of time starting as young then for bs reasons splitting them up for decades sometimes & then reunite via bs "fate" & then again constant troubles... it's just so overused & pretty much in almost every drama, it's like they can't do normal shit without abusing "TIME" in one way or another...

that's the most stupid & boring trope there is... why? cuz it always shows that FL doesn't have actual loyalty nor love for ML that she claims or they try to show in the story... & the man has to be the one who always does everything in the relationship, that's beyond boring & dumb... so a man has to always do the chasing be it 1st or 2nd & then keep on chasing no matter how many times he fails, while the FL fails, gives up & that's then, then ML has to do everything for the remaining of 90% of the show or more :S like dafuq?! what is this donkey chase stick?! cuz sure as shit doesn't sound like romance, more like dumbfounded 1 sided bullshit...

i'm tired of this pointless & retarded "trope"... if FL actually likes/loves ML she should stick to it & keep trying (if they can write the fucking script for ML to keep trying to eternity & beyond no matter how many times FL turns him down, then why can't FL be persistent like that instead of just giving up & fucking off into oblivion instantly hoeing after other guys if for not other reason then spite to get on ML's nerves...)

I love most of Lin Yi's shows as there's rarely the 3rd wheel male bullshit like in other drama's or if there is it's literally more on a "he's that annoying side character that annoys everyone, but isn't really a creep level" type of character, so for that alone i enjoy his shows as i don't have to be annoyed watching some creep constantly creeping on FL (it's a nice mind cleanse from rest of C/K-Dramas with this idiotic over-abused trope), but i'm also tired of him always being the chase cuz FL always gives up & has ML do everything in the relationship, get boring when you see it in almost every show...

you're clearly too old to either remember what romance is or never learned properly... but you seem to have boredom down to perfection though, you're just delusionally mixing the 2... but whatever, if you enjoy it that's great for you, just don't try to BS me on what's what when it clearly isn't that...

i understand anyone who's saying FL is selfish & what do you mean "sizzling hot" chemistry? there's no chemistry what-so-ever between them... mature FL?! hah... that's a cute joke, only mature thing about her is her age & nothing else... (i really don't give a flying F, if she became like that later in the show, if i'm forced at looking an immature brat of FL who does nothing but running away from everything... something a bit hard? let's whine to someone & run away from it letting someone else take over/deal with it... utterly pathetic..)

Not to mention how can anyone with a sane mind enjoy a show that's focusing on wasting more time constantly going back into the past then focusing on the preset.. fuk am i watching a story about a backstory or main story? cuz they're giving both & neither is good... they're both annoying.

Imagine watching One Piece but rather then watching current story all they give you is 90% flashbacks.... ppl would suicide & those who wouldn't would go on a homicide spree... this is how you ruin something that had potential to be good, after all if i have to skip half or more of a show just to enjoy the "good parts" that's already a failure of a show to begin with... AND YOU ADMITTED you skipped majority of it, which means you're admitting it's a shitshow & you couldn't stand watching it so you had to skip to whatever "chemistry/intimate" moments the show had of ML/FL...

it's not about intimate scenes, i said romance! romance isn't only about intimacy..., i mean if you can't even read the whole comment, why bother replying at all...

that's sadly just how it is, majority (by majority i mean a good damn 85%+) of k/c-drama are literally a copy/paste each time with exactly the tropes you mentioned & more constantly repeating itself, the only changes they do is the story & character backgrounds, even that though is most of the time same cliches.

They call em "Romance Dramas" but all you get is 99% drama and 1% romance, the 1% romance in total within any given show is less then a quarter of a single episodes length in ENTIRE SHOW aka all episodes together you get about quarter to half an episode of romance out of an entire show... utterly depressing & pathetic :/

low-key at this point even the so called "happy ending" for shows would have a better ending if they just killed of one of the main leads for a serious spin out of nowhere, would legit have more of an impact then any given point through the entire show...

Yeah it's why i mainly watch C-Dramas now, you still got the love triangle bs cuz it's still an Asian show & no ASIAN show can do without it, but at least majority of C-Dramas i watched so far, newer & older keep the focus & actual romance between MC & FMC, painting the 3rd wheel more of a psycho stalking creepo rapist type which is exactly what they always are in any of the asian dramas, unlike k-dramas where they try to paint them as some nice guys all the while even toddlers in real life understand they're not...

@IceAmbient i'm sorry, but unless you tell me ML brutalized SML too death & bitch slaps the whore called FL into her place giving her a reality check of the fucking millennia, i ain't interested anymore... you can't fix stupid just like you can't fix Asian dramas when they're not done right from 1st 1-2 episodes (at most 3-4 if it's among the longer ones that had close to 30 episodes).

no actions of anyone apart of the 2 mains are ever justified in any drama & that's clear to anyone with with a sliver of intelligence & who has watched plenty enough of asian dramas to see they're literally the same across the shows with different setups all the while they're always politely "taken down" or even forgiven EVEN when some of them down right commit murder or worse.... that's just braindead asian thinking, cuz they don't know how to get anything done properly, so they just "sorry" with a load of excuses & you're good to go... commit whatever evil you want then yap bs with pile of excuses and you're justified & forgiven...

called it before that it'll be nothing but a shit show & now that i started watching it, that's exactly what it is... MC instantly becomes a worthless pathetic sock to be the clown for the entire duration of the show jokes.... FMC is the most annoying obnoxious C*** & a hoe... and everyone else is just beyond annoying & frustrating to put up with to even finish measly 12 episodes... but then again what i did i expect from a K-Drama... 1 out of 10 is decent the other 9 are always overflowing with dumb script, forced comedy every 2 seconds to pretend it's a "comedy show" & fake non existent "romance" & ofc the biggest cliche of them all, the always pathetic useless donkey of a MC & most of the time overbearingly annoying FMC that always thinks the entire universe revolves around her...

You have to be down right insane to like this show & the likes of it... (i've enjoyed my fair share of K-Dramas, but like i said that's 1 out of every 10-ish that you get to enjoy where a miracle happens & they manage to put together something good without abusing every cliche in the universe...)

it's not off at all, blindly defending something just to justify your own view on it is "barking up the wrong tree" though... and what the focus of the show is is also irrelevant, cuz i didnt comment on the entire show itself, it's story, focus or anything else, i commented specifically on FML & what she does in her life within that show, there for anything else apart of that is irrelevant as it's not the point...
