they have though..! they have outright banned all gay content from media for many years now. Guardian originally was removed from the platform it aired on because of thta, but the pressure of 1m views in the span of days put it back out there.

Am I the only one bothered by Wen Ning's ability to breath?!He's a freaking corpse!!
He's not a corpse, at least in the series.... He was apparently near death and the flag they stabbed into him attracted dark spirits to him. Due to the fact that he had some of his "cultivation spirit" sucked out of him when he was a kid, he absorbed the dark energy and became a living puppet.... Or that's how Wei Yin explains it. :P
