I have been waiting for a while now for something with Park Bo Young. She has always been a favorite. This drama has an amazing cast also. From the trailer there is sadness but there is also love and laughter so I feel this will be a wonderful drama to watch. Can't wait.
I started and couldn't stop. I want to know more. The story is like a 1000 pieces puzzle right now, and it's interesting enough. Not too dramatic but enjoyable in its own way.
Overall it's a good drama, especially the romance part of it. The chemistry takes a while to come, but it does, and the level of respect and understanding between the main couple is to be considered good writing. I still prefer Go Go Squid part 1 over this prequel. However, with this, It is worth giving a fair chance and an open mind. Watch for the story, and don't be too upset at the different actors now playing the characters you have liked.
I watched it and decided it could have been longer. The ending felt rushed and too compact. It was torturous waiting for each episode, and it is now easier to binge-watch this drama for those watching it for the first time. I enjoyed watching this drama even if, at times, I found some of the talking to be high pitch annoyance. It is a drama I would recommend to anyone that asks for one dealing with lawyers.
This drama is so good. The intensity of every episode in this drama so far has me on the edge when watching it. My big question to myself so far has been, would the son be worse than the Father. Nurture vs. Nature If Hoong Joo is pregnant, she is pregnant with another potential killer.
I started watching this show today and watched the four episodes available on Viki at the moment, and I feel like I have stumbled onto awesomeness. I love these psychological shows that have you taking notes as you go along, trying to determine who is the killer—trying to put the pieces of every episode together with speculations, lol, because the facts are unclear.
How can I describe this drama? I liked the trailer and waited for it to start on Viki. Now that I am watching it, I keep saying to myself, "You waited for this ". It's not bad, but it's also not great. It has a lot of potentials, but someone screwed that up.
How is she kissing him all of a sudden? Were we watching the same drama? Xiao is clueless about her feelings and…
Yeah, when things calm down. Regardless of translations, Tang San said he loves her, and based on the course of their journey; one can now assume that this love is affection.
I am writing a 10-page double-spaced research paper, and I have been watching the rest of the drama while I write because I can't help myself. The curiosity of wanting to know got the best of me. Now that I finished watched all episodes, I am happy with this drama. They could very well do another season of this drama and keep it with all these actors. Season 1 was impressive because of who the leads were, and season 2 just the same. Both seasons I can now binge-watch because it tells two different stories that I now love. When the drama started, I didn't feel as connected to it as I did the first season, but I was determined to watch it all, and I have no regrets. Around 13 plus episodes is when I truly started to enjoy this drama, and the deepness of Wu Bai and Ai Qing relationship and not just that but the maturity of it. I love the respect they have for each other, and the love is evident. I know the story wasn't about Han Shang and Tong Nian, but I wish their guest appearance were more in this drama. I think this is the only thing I would change about this drama because otherwise, it stands up well enough to be a recommended drama and a personal favorite. They also have some fantastic songs. I can't wait to find it on Spotify so I can put it on my listening list. Well done by the cast and crew.
I'm just confused why he suddenly called xiao wu his lover, cuz he always referred to her as nothing but a sister…
Sorry, I see my phone rearranged my text. What I was saying is that Tang San's father shouldn't be the one to kill her. This fight should not be his anymore after understanding more of their story; even if he wanted to seek revenge for what happened to his wife, it seems like he wasn't doing this, and we didn't get to know where exactly he was and what he was doing. I assume he was always watching Tang San as he did before but not stepping in like before. He was letting San follow his path and grow. He stepped in on the last because he knew what Bibi Dong was capable of doing.
I'm just confused why he suddenly called xiao wu his lover, cuz he always referred to her as nothing but a sister…
The fight scenes were a letdown for me, especially when Tang San's father stepped in at the end. I also expected more fight scenes to see them grow as fighters, and the fight scenes were not enough. Tang San Father shouldn't kill Bibi Dong because It should be a fight for Xiao Wu and Tang San, especially Xiao Wu, that needs to get stronger. Xiao Wu might want to stop someone like BiBI Dong and others from killing her friends for more power. A season 2 should seek to explain more and cover these things. As yes, the relationship between Tang San and Xiao Wu was so clear to me that it's strange it wasn't to some viewers. Like you also mentioned, everyone else saw it beside Tang San and Xiao Wu until they can see it themselves.
tang san and xiao wu are cute as siblings. it was weird hearing tang san say "she is my lover" and xiao wu kissing…
How is she kissing him all of a sudden? Were we watching the same drama? Xiao is clueless about her feelings and innocent as the rabbit because she is trying to become a human. Xiao Wu, from the start, attached herself to Tang San like she found a mate, only she doesn't fully get it. Tang San, on the other hand, promises to care for her and calls her sister because he also is innocent, and seeing her that way at that moment is the most logical. Over time their bond does grow, but they don't see what others around them see. The process of growth between them at some points would make anyone question what these two mean to each other. Again Rong Rong, Qing, Headmaster, etc., see it, and the innocent boy and girl need to figure it out also. What exactly do they mean to each other. What he said may be shocking, but I wasn't surprised. The idea there was to acknowledge there are feelings beyond the "She is my sister." She is more than that. She was in a dying situation. Lots of love confessions come in that manner Xiao Wu kissing him was the next logical transition of acknowledgment on her part now that her puzzled feels are just like his.
Wait.. why so many people complain about TS called XW his lover, didn't he just say something like 'she's his…
I have been watching this on more than one platform, and the translation has been different in many of the episodes here and there when I pay close attention to words. Whether he called her "His lover " or " The person he loves* or "His beloved person." in the context of the Drama alone, that is him acknowledging that even if he calls her sister, he knows she means more to him than a sister. The others around them know this much. It's somewhat random he admitted it there, but again, he watched the person he loves in a position of being killed, so words do matter. He got that out there, and hopefully, with a season 2, he can be sure of what he feels for xiao Wu.
I'm just confused why he suddenly called xiao wu his lover, cuz he always referred to her as nothing but a sister…
Using the word "Lover" is a bit bold because it can mean so much, but in this context, the journey of both Tang San and Xiao Wu, his promises, and both realizing already that where one goes, the other goes. He is willing to sacrifice his life for her, and she would for him. There were so many times I said to myself that we're a couple without even realizing it. Plus, the others didn't see them as siblings, and using that term doesn't always mean "Sibling" as in any kinship but older and younger and respect.
I'm not sure if it's because I'm the Channel Manager for Wacko At Law on Viki, or because I just feel obligated…
I have been keeping up with this drama, and it is a gem. I love it. I hate how long it takes to see a new episode. I have to say I also do appreciate the quick translation on the episodes as soon as it is out. I can't wait to binge-watch this when it is over.
Many Taiwanese dramas cut during the episode with music to slide into the second half scenes. I have gotten used to it, but it sometimes makes me feel like it is the end of the episode, lol
Haha, It's not even a spoiler that Tang San called Xiao Wu his lover. Because what's not said but seen is just that unless you watched a different show.. The ending was straight out of Twilight breaking dawn part one, where you want to scream at the TV for more episode, the rest of it to explain all the endless questions you have. I wasn't shocked to know who Xiao Wu truly is when the answer was again evident in more than one episode of how she reacted or asked questions concerning the balance between her proper form and humans. I was only surprised to learn Tang San's mother's true identity. Okay, I seriously need a season 2, and I don't say this often. Season one was showing all of the students weak state and not enough battle and lots of unanswered bits. Season 2 need to see them grow in strength and bring the story together and hopefully achieve the kind of peace Xiao Wu wants to see in their world. Overall I enjoyed it.
I Started binge-watching earlier today. So far, I like some things and others I don't. I am keeping an open mind watching it because it is a prequel. Of course, lots of flashbacks to fill in episodes to carry the story. Writing this as I move on to episode 11, and I still don't feel this rush of excitement about it as yet. Maybe it gets more interesting as it goes on, even more reason to watch with some fingers crossed.
My big question to myself so far has been, would the son be worse than the Father.
Nurture vs. Nature
If Hoong Joo is pregnant, she is pregnant with another potential killer.
This one should be interesting.

I have not read the novel. But I like the story

I hope this makes sense

I honestly can't wait for another season of this.
